This week, Lakshmi refuses to believe Shalu but Shalu shows her the pictures where Rishi is holding Malishka close. Lakshmi is not able to see who Rishi is with. She and Shalu follow his car in auto. Lakshmi looks for the girl in yellow gown. Karishma tells Malishka that Lakshmi might have seen them there. Lakshmi sees Malishka come out of the cloakroom, but she has changed into different clothes. Lakshmi tells Malishka that she knows Rishi is having an affair with someone. Malishka realises that Lakshmi does not know who the girl is. Lakshmi asks for Malishka’s help in catching that girl.
Malishka says she will help her even though she feels Rishi is not having an affair. Shalu asks Lakshmi to talk to Rishi, but Lakshmi says she will talk to Rishi at home. Lakshmi hides the photos. Rishi asks what she is hiding. Lakshmi says the same thing that he hid. Rishi feels puzzled at Lakshmi’s behaviour. Karishma asks Neelam why she is doing so much for Karwachauth. Neelam says Karwachauth is done for husband’s long life and her husband is Rishi, so she is only thinking about her son’s life. Malishka assures her mother that everything is fine between Rishi and her. Neelam calls Rano to send the SARGI on time. Rano says she will make it herself and send it at 5 am. Rano says she will neither prepare anything nor send and will make some excuse. They are happy that Lakshmi will not be able to eat or drink anything.
Dadi gives a ring to her and tells that Rishi’s nani gave it to her asking to give it to Rishi’s wife. Rishi tells Lakshmi not to fast for him. Rishi tells Dadi that she knows everything, still she is asking Lakshmi to fast for him. Lakshmi says karwachauth is her duty as well as right, so how can Rishi stop her. Neelam says Lakshmi is right. Rishi feels guilty that Lakshmi will not eat or drink for him. Lakshmi and Neelam wait for Lakshmi’s SARGI. Rano tells Preetam that she could not make SARGI for her. Shalu and Bani bring Lakshmi’s SARGI. Lakshmi understands that Shalu has made SARGI and feels emotional. Bani tells that she heard that Rano was not going to make anything for her. Lakshmi says she lucky to have them as her sisters.
Rishi wonders what he has done that Lakshmi is ignoring him. Virendra and Neelam tell Karishma not to tell Lakshmi anything and let her rest. She tells this to Malishka who gets furious. Rishi calls her to cancel their plan. She tells her mother that she will also fast for Rishi and will not let Lakshmi win this time. Lakshmi asks if he was sure of marrying her. Rishi says yes. Malishka tells Rishi that she is also fasting for his long life. Rishi says even he will fast for her then. Shalu thinks Rishi hid the lie of affair behind the truth of marriage.
Lakshmi serves everyone for lunch, but they ask her why she is working. She made Virendra and Rishi’s favourite curry. Rishi comes and tells that he is fasting. Everyone thinks Rishi is fasting for Lakshmi. Lakshmi gets emotional and goes from there. Ayush follows her and asks if she is alright. Lakshmi tells Ayush that her father also used to fast for her mother. She says Rishi is fasting for her just like her father and she is very lucky. Rishi hears this and feels guilty. Rishi tells Lakshmi that even if they fall out of love in future, he will always be her friend. Lakshmi says he tells that he loves her in so many ways. Kiran tells Malishka that Rishi is a sensitive man, so he might start caring for Lakshmi. Neelam tells Rishi and Lakshmi to go to jewellers to buy a gift. Lakshmi says Rishi will get tired as he is also fasting.
Malishka asks Rishi for a gift. He goes to take her to jewellers. Karishma tells Neelam that the lady who tells story is not coming. Lakshmi says she knows the story and saves the day. Jeweller asks why Lakshmi did not come. Rishi says she has come to help choose the gift for Lakshmi. Malishka gets irritated. Rano and Neha plan to debase Lakshmi. Neha hides a plate of food under Lakshmi’s bed and they say that he ate food. Neelam asks her why she did so. Lakshmi’s head spins. Dadi friend supports her and checks her. She tells Neelam that Lakshmi’s lips are drying and her stomach is empty. She scolds Neelam for not trusting her. Malishka sees her favourite cake in fridge and eats it. Kiran sees Malishka eating. Kiran tells her to eat well and not tell Rishi anything about it. Neelam says sorry to aunty. She says Neelam is lucky to have a daughter in law like Lakshmi. Dadi says the question is who brought the plate here.
