This is the story of Amrita who is a pregnant widow and Pritam who has criminal records. Both are opposite to each other but fate brings them together.

Amrita who is the daughter in law of the Sakhuja family has lost his husband Karan. Karan is a doctor and he died while treating Corona patients. His family started facing lots of problems after he died. Amrita is strong and a positive woman. Angad and Kabir are the two younger brothers of Karan. All the responsibilities of the house fall on Angad’s shoulder when Karan died.

But in the meantime, Angad also lost his job but didn’t tell his family. Angad’s wedding was fixed with Meera. But now Meera’s father Krishankant who becomes rich now doesn’t’ want Meera to get married to Angad. He started avoiding the Sakhuja family and also tries to stop Meera from going there. Aapa notices the strange behavior of Krishankant and asks him what is going on in his mind. He says that he doesn’t want Meera to get married to Angad. Now he wants Meera to go to a family where she gets all the luxury which he is giving to her.

She tells him that it is not going to be easy to detach Meera from the Sakhuja family. Kabir saw Meera’s profile on the matrimonial site. He tells Amrita about this. Then Nimmo and Guneet parent’s of Angad goes to Krishankant to confront them. He also taunts Guneet and in a fit of anger Guneet slaps Krishankant. Meera saw this and goes to the house of the Sakhuja family. She ends her relationship with Angad and also tells everyone that Angad has lost his job. Amrita asks Angad about his job. He says she is right that he had lost his job but he was not getting the courage to tell them.

Amrita and Sukhbeer made an attempt to try to talk to Meera and her for once but they failed. Then Nimmo asks everyone to cut all the ties with Meera’s family. Kabir is neither having any job nor he tries to get a job. Because of this Nimmo gets angry at him so much. Then Amrita teaches him an important lesson and he agrees to find a job for himself. Guneet is having a shop which is going in loss. So the family decided to keep a tenant in their house so that they can earn money.

Amrita is shocked to learn that their tenant is Pritam. She doesn’t like him at all. She collided with him so many times. First, she saw him bringing a man to the hospital whom he has beaten, Then she saw him doing taking a packet of drugs from someone. When she went to meet Meera there he entered in ladies washroom because of which Amrita got scared. She also saw him outside the bank and there someone shot his hand. She asked him how dare he to come to their house?

Sukhbir says that he is their new tenant let he come inside. She is feeling restless because of him. There Kabir goes for an interview and he faces Meera during his interview. He also faces trouble because of Meera while giving an interview and in last he is almost rejected. Amrita’s family likes Pritam as their tenant and is ready to give him their house for rent.
