In the third year of Actors Cricket Bash (ACB), founded by Dilip Agrawal, Chaitanya Chaudhary will be playing for Team Ahmedabad Lions. The tournament, in T10 format, will be held at Air India Ground, Mumbai, between March 19 and March 22. The actor is charged up to hit the ground.
“It feels great to be a part of ACB. It allows me to explore my passion for cricket, play the sport in reality. We all are excited,” he continues, “I think a competitive streak is inevitable in any sport both amongst men or women. Actually, I would love the idea of having an all women’s ACB team in the future.”
The actor shares that cricket is all about love, passion and fun. “I am looking forward to the matches. But not prepared much this season given my shoot schedule is very hectic, but still raring to go. ACB season 3 is going to be a bigger success this time,” says Chaitanya, whose favourite player is Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Showering praises on Dilip, he adds, “Dilip is like a one man army, I have known him for many years. He always puts his best in everything he does.”
The new season of IPL is coming up, and Chaitanya is planning to watch the matches. “I am super excited. I support Chennai Super Kings as the team has Captain Cool. I hope they win this time,” he says.
