Five years from now, I see myself doing a film where language is not a barrier: Sham Mashalkar

Sasural Genda Phool 2 actor Sham Mashalkar is really inspired by Charlie Chaplin.

“Five years from now, I see myself doing a film where language is not a barrier. It can be a silent film or a web series where people from any part of the world can see and understand that because acting itself is a language. Therefore, five years from now, I see myself doing something creative on the sets,” said the actor with a unique name.

“I really like my name. My name is Sham Mashalkar and Sham means evening. But many people spell it as Shyam. The story behind this is that my grandmother used to call me by this name. So whenever someone calls me Sham, I go back to the old days. Among all the grandchildren, my grandmother used to love me a lot. And since she used to call me Sham, that’s the name that I kept in the industry. I don’t know why people write it as Shyam. Well that’s also the name of Lord Krishna,” he explained
