At the beginning of the episode, Pulkit comforts Sai. He tells Sai that he refused to operate on Shruti. Sai says she could not stay there after knowing everything. She says she was living a life of lies and has been woken up rudely. Pulkit says he is feeling angry and frustrated. Sai says they are shocked as it was sudden for them but it had been going on for one and half years. Pulkit asks if Shruti knows about her or Virat lied to her also. Sai says she is fed up of this topic. Pulkit says she cannot avoid it as it affects her directly.
Sai says she just wants to move forward in life. Pulkit says she must divorce Virat. She tells him that Shruti needs a doctor right now and he must not go back on his oath of treating all patients equally. She requests him to do the operation. Pulkit says he is not a robot that he can ignore his emotions.
Shruti asks Virat if Sai is his wife. Shruti says he kept Sai in dark and she must be thinking ill of her. Virat asks what happened. Shruti tells him that Sai asked her questions about her pregnancy and worries what Sai must be thinking. She requests Virat to go his own way as Sahas is now in the world. She asks Virat to tell Sai the truth or she can talk to her. Virat tells her not to do anything. Virat says it is already too late to talk as Sai has left him and the house.
Sai convinces Pulkit to do the surgery. Pulkit says it is normal practice for doctors to handover their cases to other doctors. She tells him that Shruti is not at fault because of Virat’s betrayal. Sai says Shruti might be scared of Chavan family. Pulkit says he will tell everyone about Virat’s other marriage, He is about to call Samrat, but Sai stops him saying Ashwini and Ninad will be broken-hearted after knowing this. She says she cannot see them in pain so he should leave Virat alone to handle his affairs.
Pulkit says he cannot support Virat in his lie by operating on Shruti. Sai says she just wants to do her duty as a doctor and can feel Shruti’s pain as a human. Pulkit says she has a big heart.
Shruti tells Virat that she cannot be so selfish that she will take Virat’s help after all this. Virat says she is not responsible for their problems as there was always an amount of mistrust between them and this misunderstanding was the last straw. He says if Sai had trust on him, she would have waited for him to tell the truth. Virat says he will always remain next to Sai, no matter what. Shruti says he has done more than enough for her and she will always be grateful for this. Virat says he did not do all this as a favour, but to fulfil his promise to his dying friend. Shruti asks him to tells Sai the truth. Virat tells her not to get involved in their relationship and he would have told Sai everything if it was possible.
Virat says there is lack of trust in their relationship as Sai thinks he is capable of cheating on her, but one day she will realise her mistake. Shruti says it will be too late then. Virat says it already late. Virat tells her just to focus on her operation. Shruti wishes she should die in the surgery, as she cannot live with this guilt. Virat tells her not to think like that as she is not responsible for what happened. He says Sai is a capable, independent girl who can take care of herself.
