At the beginning of the episode, Bhawani tells Karishma to clean the storeroom. Sonali praises Bhawani for showing Sai her place. Karishma says Virat and Sai will not agree to her demand. Pakhi thinks about the closeness between Virat and Sai. Sonali asks Pakhi what happened to her. Pakhi thinks she is happy Bhawani scolded Sai but what was the need of asking her to move back to Virat’s room. She says whatever Bhawani does is always right.
Karishma says Bhawani did to Sonali what she did to Sai in last MAHABHOJ. Bhawani promises Sonali that such thing will never happen again. Pakhi asks Bhawani why she asked Sai to move in with Virat. Bhawani says Sai thinks she can do whatever she wants. She says a child will fix the problems between Virat and Sai. Ashwini comes and says even she and Ninad had a child but he could not fix their problems. Sonali taunts her for acting like Sai’s lawyer.
Ashwini says she wants to talk to Bhawani alone. Sonali says she has got Bhawani’s favourite halwa too. Bhawani tells others to go out. Sonali asks Karishma to bring Mohit to her room. Pakhi imagines Virat and Sai getting close.
Sai tells Virat to stay away from her. Virat tells that Bhawani’s expectations might have changed but they have not changed. Sai tells him to leave her alone. Virat says Sai consoled him when he was upset, so why she is pushing him away when she is upset. Sai cries and says others looks at them differently. Virat asks Sai if she thought what family will think when she helped Devi to run away, then why now.
Ashwini asks Bhawani what happened. Bhawani says as head of the family, she must maintain balance and other daughters-in-law will start revolting too. She says others will also start demanding to stay in separate rooms when they have a fight. Ashwini says a child is not stuff which they can buy from the market. Bhawani says Ashwini should have told this. Ashwini says Sai and Virat may separate because of this. Bhawani says she will not change her mind. She says their ways are separate, but the aim is the same to bring them together.
Bhawani says Sai also have some duties towards Virat and if she will leave this house after finishing her studies. She says if so, then they should call her a paying guest not a daughter-in-law. She says Virat should not have to live like a single man, when he has been married and will they get him married again once Sai leaves. Ashwini says she knows Bhawani loves Virat a lot.
Bhawani says she thinks of Virat as her own son and she wants them to realize their responsibilities. Ashwini says they will have to give them time. Bhawani says one has to push them to water if they want them to learn how to swim. Ashwini requests her to trust her with this subject.
Virat reminds Sai that they were in a similar uncomfortable condition when the villagers forced them to get married so that he could take care of her. Sai says she felt like running away then. Virat says they handled that situation together. Virat says at that time he thought of that marriage as forceful, but he does not regret this marriage now. Sai asks if he is telling the truth. Sai calls him Modak again. Virat says one more thing is bothering him.
