At the beginning of the episode, Sai says her father taught her to be independent so she can make decisions which are right. She again requests Pulkit to do Shruti’s surgery. Pulkit finally gets convinced but says he feels he is supporting Virat. Sai tells him not to think like that as it is a matter of a patients survival.
Shruti feels guilty for snatching Sai’s happiness. Virat says no-one can spoil one’s life till one allows it. He says Sai has decided to suspect him and leave him. Shruti says Sai thinks Virat is the father a baby and has a wife she knows nothing about. Virat says what has happened has happened and he cannot change anything. Shruti asks for Sai’s number so she can talk to Sai. Virat requests Shruti not to tell Sai anything as it will risk Sai’s life too as she will become an accomplice to this crime. Virat tell Shruti to focus on her operation. Shruti asks who Pulkit is. Virat tells her about Pulkit.
Pulkit says Sai must be in pain. Sai says she is used to being in pain as she has been losing people since she was a child. Pulkit says she is very mature despite her age and she will be a very good doctor in future. Pulkit agrees to do Shruti’s surgery.
Shruti says she knows Virat is taking a lot of risk for her sake and can even lose his job. Virat says his reputation will be gone too. Shruti asks about his family. Virat tells her that his family has asked him to get out of the house, as they love Sai more than him. Shruti asks where he will live. Virat says he never thought he will say this to her but asks if he can live in the same house with her and Sahas for a few days. Shruti says she trusts him completely. Virat says he will suffer the consequences of his actions quietly. He asks her to think positive.
Nurse brings a stretcher to take Shruti to operation theatre. Virat encourages Shruti to win her fight. Nurse takes Shruti. Virat sits down defeated and thinks about what Sai said to him.Pulkit tells doctor that he will do Shruti’s surgery. Pulkit requests her to allow Sai to assist him in surgery. Doctor says she will call patient’s husband so that he can explain about the surgery. They try to avoid meeting Virat but doctor insists. Doctor asks Sai if she is alright. Pulkit says Sai is fine, in fact he is feeling jittery.
Virat comes to doctor’s cabin. Doctor tells him that Pulkit has agreed to operate on Shruti. Virat thanks him. Pulkit tells him to thank Sai instead. Virat thanks her. Sai tells him that saving people’s lives is a doctor’s responsibility. Doctor gives Virat a bond to sign. Virat asks what that is. Doctor asks Sai to explain it to him. Sai tells him that his wife has a critical operation. Virat thinks of his marriage to Sai. He thinks only she is his wife but sadly he cannot clarify anything to her.
