This week, Virat and the whole family plan and celebrate Sai’s birthday. They all pretend to be angry with Sai and that they do not remember her birthday. Sai asks Ashwini ro cook something nice for next day but she says tomorrow’s menu is planned already but she can make something in next few days. Sai wonders at night if Virat has a surprise for her and that is why he is still awake. She feels what if no-one remembers her birthday but tries to calm down. Sai missed her father and weeps silently. Virat thinks he will make this her best birthday ever. Sai gets ready in the morning, but Virat is still sleeping. Sai tries to wake him up, but he doesn’t get up. Sai gives him hints that it is her birthday but he continues to pretend. Sai goes to college.
Virat decorates the house for Sai’s birthday party. Everyone gets ready in pink for the party. Virat says he just wants everyone to enjoy today and be part of Sai’s happiness. Sonali says they spent too much for Sai’s birthday. Bhavani says if she knew about the expenditure, then she would have made the food herself. Ashwini says Bhawani makes the best food. Sai comes. They turn off the lights. Virat sings a song for Sai’s birthday. Everyone joins him in wishing Sai, except Patralekha. Virat Closes her eyes and takes to the room. Patralekha is sad to see Virat and Sai close.
Virat blindfolds Sai and takes her to their room which he has decorated with balloons and chocolates. Sai is very happy to see all her favourite things. There is a dress for Sai in the cupboard. Sai says it is her favourite colour. Sai gets ready and comes down for the party. Everyone admires her looking very pretty. Sai imagines her father being present there, wishing and blessing her.
Cake cutting starts. Sai calls Bhavani, Ninad, Sonali and Omi, but Bhavani says she should be grateful that they are at least there. They finally relent. Virat sings “Kya kehna” and the rest of the family joins in. Ninad also joins and everyone is shocked to see him singing beautifully. Sai goes to Pakhi’s room to call her for cake cutting. Pakhi is rude to her and says she has a headache. Sai insists everyone is waiting and she has to go for cake-cutting and pulls Pakhi’s hand. Pakhi pushes her and Sai hits her head on the table. Virat comes there and sees that Sai has fallen.
Virat removes Sai’s hand and sees that her forehead is bleeding. Virat asks Pakhi to shut up and takes Sai to their room to clean her wound and put a bandage. They go down and everyone asks what kept them so long and why is Sai hiding behind Virat. Everyone is shocked and worried to see Sai hurt. Virat tells them what happened. Pakhi comes down and says why Virat is twisting the truth. Bhavani suports Pakhi and Ashwini says Sai is correct. Pakhi says they are all blaming her without knowing the truth. Sai says she wants to give a return gift to Pakhi and that gift is that they will all have dinner together. Sai cuts the cake and feeds it to Virat.
Everyone sits down together on the dining table to eat food. Sai goes to get the water when Virat pulls her and takes her away to the car. Virat wants to spend some alone time with Sai, but Sai says they were going to go to their room anyway after the dinner.Virat gives Sai a diamond ring as gift. Ashwini calls just as he is about to say “I love you”. Sai says they must go in immediately, as Bhavani will create a scene if they are missing from her party. Virat is disappointed as Sai goes. Pakhi is taking bread butter to her room, when Ashwini calls her to the table. Pakhi tells
Virat that she had no intention of hurting Sai and it was just an accident. Sai tells Pakhi that it looks like her headache is better so she should join everyone. She says she considers Pakhi as her elder sister. Pakhi joins the table. Virat has made special “modak” for Sai and she is very happy. Bhavani and Devi serve food to everyone. Sai’s friends from college come to wish her birthday. Virat looks at the watch as it is late, but Sai welcomes them. Sai thinks Virat called them, but Ajiknkya says Virat did not call them.
