At the beginning of the episode, Sai asks Virat where his trust was when he doubted her and Ajinkya when he already knew about him. Virat says he has also apologized to her for that a thousand times. He says what if someone called her and he reacted like this. Sai says no one calls her at midnight and she never hides anything from him. Sai says she does not want to talk to him. Virat holds her hand and asks if this is all that she trusts him. Sai says he is hurting her.
Virat requests Sai not to misunderstand him and he is not doing anything wrong. Sai says she feels she does not even know him and his behavior hurts her now. Virat says he is in a lot of trouble but he will tell her everything as soon as he sorts them out. He tells her that he has promised someone which he needs to fulfill. Sai asks who he has promised who is more important than their marriage too. Virat says she knows he always fulfills his promises. Sai asks if he is in trouble because of his promise. Virat thinks he is going against law for it and he cannot let her be involved in it.
Sai asks Virat if he is in trouble. Virat says when one cannot share anything with anyone, then one has to be in. trouble. Virat tells her that he may even lose his job and he cannot let his family get involved in all this. He says he may even need her help at the right time. Sai says she is always there for him if he needs her. Virat requests her to trust him and not bring bitterness between them because of this situation. Sai says she cannot help feeling uneasy.
Sai asks why his friend’s wife calls him, not his friend. Virat thinks he killed his friend. Sai asks him to tell the truth. Virat tells Sai to let it go and join the party. Sai says she does not want to live with this pain as his whole attention is on Shruti. She says Virat is going away from her because of Shruti. Virat apologizes and says he cannot tell him anything else. He sits down defeated. Sai finally tells him that she will not question him any more. Virat thanks her.
Virat says tomorrow’s felicitation program will go better than today. Sai asks if he will come for the program. Virat tells her that he is very proud of her and he will be there for sure. He tells her that they will go shopping for her.
Virat turns on his phone. Shruti calls him immediately and tells him that her labor pains have started. Virat asks her about her health and medicines and says he will be there. Sai hears all this and goes angrily. Virat thinks he must keep Sai convinced so that she does not doubt him.
Virat goes to see Shruti. Shruti says she is going to die. Virat says he did not rescue him for this despair. Shruti says he spoilt her life and saved her life too. Shruti says she frees him from this responsibility, as she knows there is tension between him and his wife because of her. Shruti says Sai is not at fault for misunderstanding them. Virat tells her that Sai reacted that way because it was a very special day for her. Shruti asks what special day. Virat says she need not know about that.
