At the beginning of the episode, Virat goes with Sai as the man opens his mask. He is Sadanand and he recalls his times with Virat and Sunny. He thinks his friend is in front of him but he cannot even show himself up. He gets call from someone.
Ashwini introduces Sai to the family jewellers. Jeweller shows the couple rings that Ashwini has ordered for Virat and Sai. They are shocked. Ashwini says it was Ninad’s idea. Ashwini says the rings will look nice on their hands and they are just small rings. Jeweller says these rings are not small and she gave her own gold and then he added 12 grams gold more. Virat says why she gave her own gold. Ashwini says it is every mother’s dream to give gold to her daughter or daughter in law.
They hesitate to wear rings, but Ashwini convinces them that they are friends so these are just like friendship bands. Sai asks Virat to give his hand and puts the ring in his finger. Virat also puts the ring in Sai’s finger. Sai says she already has the ring that Virat gave her on birthday. Virat puts it in other hand. Virat thinks maybe a day will come when Sai will also love him.
Ashwini tells that giving gold to daughter in law on Dhanteras means inviting Lakshmi home. Jeweller gives box for couple ring. Sai asks for separate boxes. Virat also supports her. Ashwini tells them to do other shopping while she finishes there. Sadanand meets a professor in the mall. Police comes into the mall looking for Sadanand.
Sai asks Virat to up on the down escalator. Virat says not to do it or she may fall, but she hops on. Her saree gets stuck on the escalator. Virat stop the escalator. Sai gets scared and hugs him. She thanks him. Virat ask if she is ok.
Police officer gives Sadanand’s sketch to his team. Sadanand asks why the professor called him there. Professor says he could not arrange the funds. Sadanand says it will not be possible to buy weapons without the funds and they will lose their fight. Professor asks him to hide for a few days and not to kill any policeman or army man for some time. He sees the police looking for Sadanand and tells him to go.
Sai tells Virat that a kid is so cute. Virat says it is a girl. Sai says she heard the boy’s name and why he thought it is a girl. Virat says it could be because he has always wanted a girl for himself. Sai says her father also wanted a girl. Virat says Kamal sir was so progressive in those times. Sai says even Bhawani is progressive as she says son or a daughter. Virat says everyone thinks an heir can only be a son, but his daughter will be his heir. Sai says they will make sure she gets everything. Virat is happy to hear her say ‘they’. Ashwini asks whose daughter they are talking about. Sai changes the topic and points to the child.
They go and meet the child. The child goes to Virat not Sai. The boy’s mother says Sai will not have to worry about putting their child to sleep as Virat will do that.
Sadanand tries to escape from police and bumps into Virat from behind and falls down revealing his face. Virat is shocked to see him.
