At the beginning of the episode, Sai sees her father’s photo as she unpacks her stuff. Pulkit brings something for her to eat. Shruti’s doctor calls Pulkit to tell that Shruti’s condition is deteriorating, so he should come soon.
Virat tells the agent that he needs a two-bedroom apartment. He tells that it should have privacy. The doctor calls him to come soon. Pulkit tells the doctor to give her an injection soon. The doctor says Shruti is too weak and her body may not accept such a high dose. Virat talks to the nurse who tells her to look after his son. Virat worries how he will carry out his promise to Sadanand.
Pulkit tells Sai that Shruti was not taken care of during her pregnancy. He says she had a premature delivery so Virat must have met her at least one year ago. Sai says she never felt anything odd in his behaviour earlier. Pulkit asks her to think if Virat went somewhere for a few days. Pulkit says maybe they met long back and decided to part ways, but later came back in contact. Pulkit tells Sai not to get herself involved in all this. Sai says she is just trying to help Shruti. Pulkit says if Shruti dies, Virat will come to her and she will also forgive him. Sai says she might. Pulkit says that baby is not her responsibility.
Family brings Bhawani home. Samrat tells everyone that Bhawani needs a few days rest to be normal. Sonali says nothing will be normal now after Virat’s affair. Bhawani says Virat has spoilt their reputation and she can never feel the same again. Bhawani curses Shruti to never be better again.
Sai says nothing will happen to Shruti and even if it happens Virat will take him to Chavan Nivas. Sonali says what if Virat brings his wife and baby to this house. Bhawani says she will never let them inside this house. Sai says Virat will take care of the baby with everyone’s help in the house. Pulkit asks what about her. Sai says she will go away after their divorce and will free Virat and Shruti from this trouble.
Pulkit asks how she can forgive Virat and Shruti. Sai says she is very upset as a wife but as a doctor and human being, she cannot let a baby separate from his mother. Sai requests Pulkit to save Shruti. Virat asks the doctor what happened when the operation is successful. Doctor tells him that they are waiting for Pulkit and Sai to give the injection. Doctor asks if he has forgotten Sai. Virat says she need not remind him of a student and tears come into his eyes.
Pulkit and Sai come there. Sai thinks Virat also cried like this for her once. She takes Virat by hand to temple and assures him that Pulkit will try to save his wife. She asks him to pray for his wife’s life and remain strong for her. Virat thinks Sai has become so mature suddenly. Virat asks where she is staying now. Sai tells him not to worry about her, but she is there if he wants to know anything about the patient and his baby. Virat holds her hands. Sai says his love will not let anything happen to his wife. She takes her hand away and leaves.
Virat cries silently and asks God how many more tests he will have. He says he has no-one now and even his best friend talks to him as if he is a stranger. Sai sees him and thinks Virat is in bad condition with worry and prays to God to help him live a good life with his wife and baby.
