At the beginning of the episode, Sadanand tries to escape from the police and bumps into Virat from behind, and falls down revealing his face. Virat is shocked to see him. Sadanand runs away. A police officer tells Virat that he is a dangerous criminal. He runs after him and almost catches Sadanand. He calls his name and Sadanand stops. The police come and he escapes.
Virat chases Sadanand. Sai realizes that the guy is Virat’s old friend. Virat tries to talk to Sadanand, but he throws sand in Virat’s eyes and runs away. Professor watches them. Sadanand manages to escape. Sai asks if was the same Sadanand. A police officer is shocked to know that a terrorist is Virat’s friend. Sai tells them that they were friends in college. They go home.
Everyone is surprised to see only a few shopping bags. Bhawani says they completed only their shopping not others. Ashwini says they had to leave shopping mid-way. Karishma opens the bags and says there is just an empty jewelry box. Pakhi says she must look at the special couple’s fingers. Bhawani and Sonali notice Sai’s ring. Bhawani rebukes Ashwini for not asking others. Sai says Ashwini gave her own gold to make rings for her son and daughter-in-law.
Sonali taunts Ashwini and Sai. Virat says Sai is right and they will complete the shopping the next day. Sai tells that Virat met his college best friend there. Pakhi says they all would have chatted and lost time for shopping. Virat gets angry and goes from there. Pakhi thinks about what she said. Ashwini tells them that his closest friend has turned into a terrorist. Bhawani also recalls the boy.
Ashwini tells that Virat is very upset because of all this. Sai says she did not know they were so close. Sonali says Sadanand came to their house on Diwali and now met Virat again on Diwali but as a terrorist. Pakhi thinks she hurt Virat unknowingly. Ashwini asks Sai to give food to Virat.
Karishma gives Sai an envelope. Sai opens it and smiles. Virat talks to ACP. ACP says there are many people in Nagpur who fund Sadanand and his gang. Virat tells that Sadanand used to study with him in college but they parted ways. He says Sada is just a criminal for him now.
Virat is pensive in his room. Sai consoles him. Virat says his connection with her is the strongest, especially now. Virat says now Sadanand is just a criminal, not his friend anymore. Sai says Sadanand chose the wrong direction in life. Virat says he cannot even bring him back to the right path. Sai tells Virat that she has got readmitted to college and she can start college after Diwali. Virat congratulates her and says he would have taken her for dinner in other circumstances. Sai says they will have green tea together at night in their special place. Sai feeds him.
Pakhi tries to talk to Virat in the corridor. Virat asks what she wants to want to talk about here. Pakhi says he only forbid her from coming to his room especially when his dear wife is not there. Virat rebukes her for taunting Sai all the time and their ways. Virat says he ignores her taunts all the time, but for how long. Pakhi admits she sometimes goes too far and apologizes for speaking rudely to him.
Virat says he gets hurt when she says mean things about Sai also. Pakhi says what about her. Virat says why she is trying to get involved in things where she is not involved. Pakhi says he promised that he will always be her friend. Virat says her relationship with Samrat is bigger than their friendship. Virat says he has always supported her when she got hurt or when she had nightmares, what more she expects. Pakhi thinks Sai came in between them and she wants to be able to talk to him whenever she wants. Virat tells her not to expect anything else.
