At the beginning of the episode, Ninad asks Sai why she is not ready yet. Sai tells him that she will not go to college. Ashwini tells her that she should not punish herself for Virat’s mistake. Ninad is shocked to know that Virat has gone out again. Ashwini tells him to question Virat as soon as he comes. She tells Sai that they are with her.
Devi says that Virat might give her a surprise directly in college. Sai says Shruti will not let him come. She says why Shruti’s husband never calls Virat, only her. Ninad tells Shruti they must get to the bottom of the situation. Sai says if Virat and Shruti have any relationship, then she will leave Virat.
Devi tells Sai that Virat is not a cheat and she must trust him. Ashwini tells Sai that this family has finally accepted her and now she is thinking of leaving this house. Ninad says Virat can never cheat her. Sai says it is difficult to believe but true and Virat hardly stays with her.
Virat feels remorseful that he cannot go to Sai’s function and thinks he does not even have enough courage to call her. He hears Shruti’s shrieks. Nurse tells her that they need to do surgery urgently so he must do the formalities at the reception. Ninad calls him. Shruti asks Virat if he will stay there. Virat promises that he will be there till Sahas comes into this world safely.
Sai tells Ninad not to call Virat as he will not pick up. Ninad and Ashwini tell her that they are proud of her and she should not let others down for Virat’s behaviour. Ashwini says how would her father feel. Sai finally agrees to go to college for their sake.
Samrat and Mohit wonder why Virat is still not there. Samrat calls Virat. Virat disconnects the call. Samrat wonders why Virat is behaving like that. Mohit thinks he might be with Shruti. Virat feels helpless and thinks he promised Sai and he could have given his life also to be near her, but he cannot go. He thinks he cannot break his promise to his dying friend. He thinks he is a bad husband and friend and Sai must be furious at him, but she will understand once she comes to know the truth. He hopes that Sai will tolerate all this for a few days and forgive him later. He hopes Sai does not leave him. He prays to God to help Sai and Shruti.
Doctor tells Virat that Shruti’s condition is getting worse and they can save either the baby or mother. Virat is shocked and ask her to try and save both. She asks him to sign a consent letter and choose one of them. Virat thinks how he can choose between Sahas and Shruti. He thinks Shruti will be devastated if she loses the baby, but how can the baby survive without mother. He finally tells doctor to save the mother. He signs the consent letter.
