At the beginning of the episode, Virat lies on his bed thinking of Sai. Sai also thinks of him. They both miss each other. Virat gets up and goes to check on Sai and sees the Sai has put pillows on the bed just like before. He wonders if she was also missing her.
Samrat asks Pakhi in the car why she behaved rudely with Sai. Pakhi says they were busy the whole day and now when they have some time, he wants to talk about Sai. Samrat says Sai is his younger sister so he wants her to mend her relationship with Sai. Pakhi says she does not belong to his perfect family. Pakhi says she wants to build a strong foundation for their relationship. Samrat says if she wants so, then she must care about his family too.
Ashwini comes and finds Virat peeping into Sai’s room. She asks why he is still awake. Virat says he just went to check on Sai. Ashwini asks if he was missing her. He asks him to tell the truth what he feels for Sai. She says she knows Virat loves Sai dearly. Virat avoids the topic and says he is sleepy. Ashwini says she understands everything but she wants him to admit it. Virat admits that he was missing Sai.
Ashwini asks that he took Sai to Mahabaleshwar to confess his feelings. Virat says Sai misunderstood him. Ashwini says Sai is still a kid. She says Sai maintains her distance because she feels he still lives in his past. Virat says he is over his past. Ashwini tells him to give her some time to realize her feelings. Virat says what if he kept waiting and she went further away. Ashwini says Sai must realize her feelings herself and he should give her time. Virat feels happy when she says God has made them for each other. Virat thanks her.
Ashwini says relationships must be based on love, respect, and trust. She says she and Ninad will soon complete 37 years of marriage but they never became good friends. Virat feels sad for her.
Sai dreams that Virat is next to her. He says she has put too many pillows on the bed and there is no space for him. He says they must bring his bed here. Sai says they can go to that room only. He says he knew she cannot wait to go back to that room. Sai wakes up and wonders why she is dreaming about Virat.
Ashwini comes to Sai’s room and asks what happened. She asks if she saw some bad dream. Sai says it was a nice dream. Ashwini says Virat is also awake. Sai asks why he is awake. Ashwini says he also needs to adjust to new realities. Sai says he has the same room. Sai asks Ashwini to stay with her till she sleeps. Ashwini says she had also gotten used to Virat’s presence. Sai sleeps on Ashwini’s lap. Ashwini sings a lullaby for Sai. Sai tells her that she gave Virat the name Modak. Ashwini says it means Virat is her favorite too like Modak. Sai asks Ashwini to make sabudana khichdi for her the next day.
Sai asks her father to bless her so she recovers fast. Devi comes to meet Sai and tells that she will stay there for a few days. She tells her that she scolded Virat when Sai was in the hospital. She also tells that she told Virat about her leaving home but Virat said Sai can do what she wants.
Virat hears all this. Sai sees him and calls him to come in. Devi asks Sai to scold Virat. Sai says they must punish him.
