At the beginning of the episode, Sai says the soul has left their dead marriage and it is now just the funeral. She signs the papers. Virat signs them too. Pakhi thinks she always wanted Virat to divorce Sai, but now he is doing it not for her but for someone else. Sai thinks Virat will soon know why she has done this. Ninad asks Sai if the work with Virat is done. Virat says he will leave. Mohit tells Virat that he has broken his relationship with Sai not them. Virat tells Ashwini and Sai to take care and eave.
Sai also picks up her bag to leave. Ninad asks her to not leave so fast. Sai says she has some important work. Ashwini asks her to keep coming there. Sai says she can never keep them away from herself and she will come whenever she calls her. Samrat also tells her to call him whenever she needs anything. Sai tells Samrat to take care of everyone and stay happy. Pakhi asks if he should stay happy like her.
Bhawani says they have embarrassed them but they do not care. Sai says Bhawani never liked her and she also could not give her what she wanted. Sai says Virat has given them this family’s heir. Bhawani says that baby can never babe their family. Sai asks them to think calmly. She tells them to take care and leaves.
Shruti asks Virat if he is alright. Shruti says she can tells something wrong has happened. Virat tells her about his divorce. Shruti is surprised. Virat says why would she want herself maligned, when the whole world is blaming him. Shruti says she never expected this to happen. Virat says life never happens as per their expectations. Virat says Sai had come prepared with a lawyer and their divorce is final now. He tells her not to blame herself for it.
Sai talks to her father’s photo and says there was no marriage between her and Virat and whatever was there, she also finished that. She says freed him from this forced marriage. She says he also would have told her to move on in life rather than being stuck on a dead relationship. Pulkit knocks om her door but she does not open the door. He calls her but she disconnects.
Sai finally opens and says she was sleeping. Pulkit asks why she is looking weak. Pulkit check her and says she has fever. Sai says it is light fever and she will be fine by next day. Sai says she cannot take medicine as she has not eaten anything.
Shruti tells Virat to eat something. She asks if his family is any calmer towards him. Virat tells her that they did not even look at him. Shruti asks him to eat again. Virat asks why she cooked and he would have cooked. Shruti says she can do at least that much.
Sai says she has to get better but next day. Pulkit asks why so she tells him that she has filed for divorce. Pulkit is shocked. He asks her why she gave him freedom. Sai says she will go to DIG and remove all blames from Virat. Sai says she wants to pay back for his favours to her. She says she will prove that she is no more his wife. Pulkit says how can she defend her own abuser.
Shruti gives food to Virat. Virat tells her to leave him alone. Shruti says she is just worried about him. Virat remember how Sai fed him when he was unwell and tells her to stay away from him. Shruti says he also forced her to eat. Virat says she was pregnant and he needed to take care. Virat says the right to take care of him belongs only to one person and none else can take her place.
