At the beginning of the episode, Virat goes to meet Pakhi in the coffee shop. Pakhi orders double espressos for them and says she knows espresso is his favourite. Virat says not anymore and orders a green tea for himself. He says he has changed over time. Virat asks her to tell why she called him. Pakhi tries to check his temperature but he stops her. Virat tells her to come to the point straight. Pakhi asks him what she should do with her life as Samrat has asked her to make a decision. Virat says it is her life and her decision. Pakhi says it depends on his decision as Samrat will stay if she stops him. Virat tells her that she should stop him, as he can never find someone as good as him. Pakhi says he has been ignoring what was between them for long but now they must face those feelings. She holds his hand but Virat pulls away. He says there is nothing between them and he has told this to her so many times.
Pakhi says she has been staying in Chavan Nivas for him. Virat says she is a smart woman so she should understand that a lot has changed in the past one year. Pakhi asks him if he has forgotten how they met and connected. She says those were the most previous moments of her life. She says what they shared was special and he cannot deny it. Virat says he is not denying the past, but it was past. He says they separated and she agreed to marry Samrat. Pakhi says she agreed because he wanted her to marry Samrat because he said he will not even be her friend. Virat says if fate wanted them to be together, then they would have been, but it is not to be. He tells her to live in the present and start to leave. Pakhi holds his hand. Virat tells her that the day she got married, their story was over. Pakhi asks why he broke her heart and tells him that they still have a chance. Virat tells her she cannot cheat on Samrat, but Pakhi says he cheated her actually. Pakhi says he promised her that he will not let anyone in his heart. Virat says a lot has changed in the last one year. Pakhi says Sai has changed you. Virat says this is exactly what he has been saying. Virat says his life is only because of Kamal sir, so he took that decision to marry Sai. He says he has moved on and he wants her to move on too. He says Sai and him have spent more time together and faced more challenges. He says he knows he has feelings for Sai without any doubt.
Sai thinks what decision Virat will take. Pulkit asks him if everything is alright. Sai says Virat is unwell. He tells her that it is seasonal and he will be fine in a couple of days. Sai’s friends ask her to go to coffee shop as their classes got over early. Sai says no, but Pulkit convinces her to go. Her friends insist so she agrees.
Pakhi asks Virat what about his feelings for her. She says he has moved on but not her. She says she has been waiting for him. Virat says he is not denying anything but he has understood that they get infatuated and attracted to a lot of people in life, but what they shared was just friendship. He says what he and Sai share is real love and it has been growing. He tells her to give a chance to her and Samrat’s relationship too. Pakhi says she wants to move on too but only with him. She says Samrat wants it too. Virat loses his cool and says he is married to Sai and this truth will not change. Pakhi says she knows he loves Sai, but Sai does not love him at all. Pakhi says she understands him not Sai. Pakhi says what he sees in that girl. Virat asks her not to cross her limits.
