At the beginning of the episode, Pakhi asks Samrat to take off her MANGALSUTRA. Samrat remembers their wedding and says this is a symbol of promises to stay together. He decides to give their marriage another chance. Pakhi is very happy to hear this.
Bhavani says it Janmashtami today but the atmosphere does not feel like it. Mohit says he will call Samrat, but Omkar stops him. Sonali says the decorations do not look like every year. Ashwini says everyone is worried about Samrat and Pakhi. Virat and Sai come. Samrat also comes. Bhavani asks where Pakhi is. Pakhi calls them all for breakfast. Sai thinks Pakhi is behaving strangely. Pakhi has made breakfast for everyone. Pakhi serves breakfast to Samrat. Everyone is happy to see Pakhi happy.
Virat says he is getting transferred and he has to leave the next day. Bhavani asks how he got a sudden transfer. Sai says he himself took the transfer. Ashiwini asks him why. Virat says it doesn’t matter. Virat tells Ninad that he will send money for Sai’s expenses every month. Sai says she does not want to take any money from him as her scholarship money is enough for her. Virat says that is his responsibility and he will carry it out.
Pakhi asks Virat to stay for a few days as she and Samrat want to do a puja for their new life. Everyone is happy with their decision. Sai says she will help Pakhi in serving breakfast, but Pakhi asks her to sit and eat. Sai is surprised. Pakhi has made Samrat’s favourite dishes. They all have food happily and praise Pakhi. Bhavani says now they will celebrate Janmashtami in a big way. Pakhi says she is the favourite daughter-in-law but she never got the right to sit in any puja because her husband was not there. She says she wants to sit in the puja with Samrat. Pakhi thinks she will show Virat that she can be happy without him. She wonders if Virat will postpone his posting.
Virat hugs Samrat. Ashwini gets emotional seeing them. Virat says he is very happy for them but he cannot postpone his posting. Ashwini scolds Virat and asks to think about Sai. Virat says she must focus on her studies. Pakhi asks if he cannot stay for even Samrat. Virat says nothing is going to depend on his staying back or not. Sai says they must see if his transfer happens or not. Virat says his transfer orders have already come and she should be happy that he is going away from her. Sai says he is trying to tell everyone that he is going away because of her. Virat says everyone already knows that but he will carry out his responsibilities till she is self-dependent.
Samrat asks if he took the transfer because he is back. Virat says his decision is only his. He says the place he has been transferred to is known for terrorist activities and he always wanted new challenges. He tells Samrat that there is no other reason. He says there is barely any network in that place so they should not get worried and he will contact them whenever he can. Shivani tells him not to go. Virat says the orders have come so he must leave. Ashwini asks him to stay for Janmashtami and DAHI HANDI with Samrat. Virat says he understands their emotions but he cannot step back from his duty.
