At the beginning of the episode, Virat and the whole family pretend to be angry with Sai. Patralekha says everyone is an actor in this family. Virat whispers to Pakhi to help them in their plan and support them. Sai asks Virat what he is talking to Pakhi and why he looks troubled. Virat says he is troubled for her because she spent too much time on her fest and ignored her studies. Sai says she was studying only but came down to drink water and got worried to see them all talking about her. She asks Ashwini if something nice could be made for food next day.
Sonali says how she could get worried as she is least bothered. Ashwini asks Sai why she wants some special dish tomorrow. Sai wonders how to tell everyone that it is her birthday. Ashwini says tomorrow’s menu is planned already but she can make something in next few days. Sai says it is fine and she can make whatever everyone likes.
Sai is studying in her room and misses Virat. Virat is talking to Sunny and tells him all about his plan. Virat says he wants to wish her at 12:00 am but then his plan will go haywire. Sunny tells him to go ahead and wish her at midnight. Sai is wondering if Virat has a surprise for her and that is why he is still awake. She feels what if no-one remembers her birthday but tries to calm down.
Virat tells Sunny that he wants to give a gift to Sai on his knees and say tell her something. Sai reaches there and asks him what he is doing. He says he is stretching while talking on phone and pretends to be talking to DIG.
Sai looks at him expectantly but he tells her that he had to sleep early. Sai thinks he doesn’t remember her birthday. Virat thinks it will be her most memorable birthday. Virat hides Sai’s gift under his pillow. He pretends to be asleep and Sai feels disappointed and goes back to studying. Sai takes out her father’s photo and thinks he used to wish her at midnight but in this house no-one remembers her birthday. She misses him and weeps silently. Virat thinks he will make this her best birthday ever.
Sai gets ready in the morning, but Virat is still sleeping. Sai tries to wake him up by splashing water on him from her wet hair, but he doesn’t get up. Sai gets hair dryer and directs it towards him while drying her hair to wake him up, but Virat continues to pretend sleeping.
Virat gets up and asks her if she has to go somewhere before college. She says he was sleeping so deeply, but Virat says he can never have deep sleep because she makes too much noise. Sai says at least today he should not point out her mistakes. Virat asks where she has to go before college. Sai replies that she will go to temple. Virat asks why as it is not even her exam. Sai says she will pray to “Bappa” to give him some brain. Sai says she will come home early from college. Virat says it is good to do self-study. Sai tries give hints to Virat but he continues to pretend.
Virat finally asks when Sai’s birthday comes but goes back to bed before she can answer. Sai says her father used to celebrate her birthday for many days. Virat says her father pampered her too much. Sai says he wasn’t like him who thinks only about himself. Virat says she is getting later for college. Sai says she woke him up as it was getting late, but Virat says it is his off day.
Sai goes away angrily. Virat thinks when sees his surprise in the evening her anger will disappear.
Upcoming Story: Sai comes to Pakhi room and requests her to join the Birthday party as everyone is waiting for Pakhi’s too. Pakhi refuses to attend her stupid cake-cutting function. Sai insists on her again but she pushes her. Virat enters the room and sees Sai is injured.
