This week, Sai’s college friends come home to give her a birthday surprise. Virat and other family members do not like this. hey have brought another cake which has “Dr Sai Joshi” written on it, so Sai cuts that cake too. Sai gives the cake to Ajinkya and other friends. Virat watches it with envy and refuses to have the cake when Sai gives him. Virat is jealous of Sai’s closeness to Ajinkya. He says he noticed how she hugged all her friends, but touched his feet. She says she touched his feet out of respect. Virat puts the ring on Sai’s finger. Patralekha is listening to their conversation and is shocked to hear all this. Sai figures Pakhi is listening to their conversation and they have an argument,
Sai is looking for Rs. 50000 in the morning, but has only Rs. 40000 from her scholarship money. Virat gives her Rs.10000, but Sai does not tell him what she needs the money for. Virat guesses that she is planning a party for her friends. Virat says he needs to go to work but he will take account from her in the evening.
Everyone is waiting for Sai at home as she has not yet returned from college and it is 8 pm already. Everyone is worried about her. Bhavani says one day someone will get heart attack because of Sai’s activities. Sai’s phone is also switched off. Mohit call her college and says his college has told that first year students left at 5 pm itself. Sonali and Pakhi say did he call Sai’s special friend, Ajinkya. Shivani defends Sai but Pakhi says she is just guessing as Sai did not tell anyone. Virat says he is really worried about Sai because she took Rs. 50000 with her to college. Sai comes home and everyone questions her. Pakhi says she knows what she did with the money and they should check her eyes and mouth as college students involve in a lot of activities these days. She implies Sai might have taken drugs.
Ashwini scolds Pakhi for blaming Sai without proof. Virat tells her not to pay attention to Pakhi’s nonsense. Bhavani says Sai will have to listen till she tells where she spent all that money. Sai says she didn’t do anything wrong. Sai gets a box. Sai says only Ninad can tell its real value. She pulls Ninad to open the box even though he resists. Everyone is surprised to see a harmonium inside. Ninad is tongue-tied. Sai apologises to everyone for worrying them, but she just wanted to give a surprise to Ninad as parents always think about children’s happiness before their own and it is children’s duty to take care of their parents too. Ninad is very happy.
Ashwini tells Virat that he is lucky to have a wife like Sai. Virat takes food for Sai. Virat asks her why she did not call him to pick her but she says then the surprise would have got spoilt. Virat asks for Ajinkya’s number. Sai says why he wants his number. He says if he had her best friend’s number, then he could have asked him where she was. Next day, Pakhi says she had applied for some jobs and she got a call from there. She says she will live in her parent’s home till she gets a job. Everyone tries to convince her to stay in that house only for Samrat. Pakhi says why everyone thinks wrong about her and no-one understand her in this family. Sai comes down and she has cough and cold. Sai says Pakhi has right on this house and if someone should leave house, it is her.
Virat brings Sai “kadha” and tells her to rest. Sai wants to study, but Virat insists that she drinks “kadha” and go to sleep. Ninad sings on his harmonium. Bhavani says it seems Sai has won over Ninad’s heart. Sai comes down and asks Pakhi for tea. Pakhi says she is queen of this house, so she can drink her tea instead. Ninad rebukes Patrlaekha for being rude to Sai. Pakhi says she cannot stay under the same roof with Sai. Ninad says Sai is still a kid while Pakhi is older, so she should show maturity. Omkar and Sonali assure Pakhi that they will always be with her. Doorbell rings. Pakhi opens the door and it is Ajinkya. Ajinkya says he has come to check on Sai. Pakhi sends him up to Sai’s room and says there is no problem in their family. Virat comes home. Bhavani tells Virat that Sai’s friend has come to meet Sai. Virat is furious and says who allowed him to go up to her room. Pakahi says why he is angry on a small thing.
