At the beginning of the episode, Sai says she will call the DIG herself to ask where other officers are. Virat tries to stop her when a waiter comes there and gives him a note from the organizer. The note says they must have dinner in their room only as the venue has a lot of lizards and insects. Sai gets scared and says they must go to the room. Virat says it is better that they see Mahabaleshwar instead of just sitting in the room, Sai can go to the room with lizards if she wants. Sai gets scared and agrees to go with him.
The driver takes them to a restaurant. Virat compliments Sai for her saree. Sai says it was useless to get ready as they are not going with his colleagues. Virat teases her on her everyday dressing sense. Virat tells Sai to enjoy and not sulk. They get stuck in a huge traffic jam due to landslides. Sai sulks what a good time they are having stuck in a traffic jam and with old music. Sai says she is very hungry. Virat takes her out of the car and thinks that their first anniversary will be the most memorable.
Virat covers her eyes and takes her to a place where he has arranged for eating under the stars. Sai is mesmerized by the view. Virat tells her to stop talking and enjoy. Virat gets dressed in an apron and chef’s hat and makes instant noodles and tea for Sai.
Sai becomes emotional. Virat asks what happened. Sai says she is thinking of her father. Virat plays music on his mobile and asks Sai to dance with him. Sai is admiring the view when a star falls down. Sai asks Virat to wish for something and Virat says “I love you” to her. Sai is taken aback. Virat tells her that he loves her very much and wanted to tell to her for a long time. It is revealed that Virat was just imagining this and could not say it.
Sai is cross that Virat did not wish for anything. Virat says not every wish needs to be said aloud. Sai enjoys noodles a lot. Sai says this evening is the best evening of her life.
Ashwini is anxiously waiting to wish them on their anniversary at midnight. Mohit stops Ashwini and Shivani from calling as they might be sleeping as Virat has to get up in the morning. Ashwini says she will call Sai instead. Mohit says they must call them together in the morning. Shivani pretends to have a cold and asks Ashwini to make “kadha” for her.
Sai falls asleep. Virat clicks a selfie with her and says “I love you” and “happy anniversary” and kisses her. Sai gets up and is confused about what she heard and felt. Virat pretends to be asleep.
