Hansa Singh on her bond with Munisha Khatwani: It’s like a karmic connection

Actress Hansa Singh shares a great bond with actress and tarot card reader Munisha Khatwani. The actress adds that they have grown together and love spending time with each other.

“Where do I begin, it’s like the whole universe showers it’s light on our bond. It’s like a karmic connection. We have been friends for the last 20 years and counting, we have grown, evolved together. She is my soul sister. We know each other since 2001, but it feels like it was just yesterday. We often laugh about it. She is like my partner in crime,” she says.

Talking about how they met, Hansa says, “That’s an interesting story. I was called on the set of Sanjog, a daily soap produced by PNC to teach her Hindi dialogue diction and delivery. There was this sweet girl with an English accent doing a Hindi daily soap. We connected instantly. Thereafter, I was also part of Sanjog and it was just an awesome family we had, working hard and partying harder.”

She’s my family, says Hansa, adding, “I am thankful to the universe for this bond, and we have, in our own way, added to each other’s lives. We hang out at each other’s home over pizza and wine our favourite combo.”

The two share a lot of common interests which they can often talk about. “There have been a lot over the years. As time passes, interests transform too. But, by heart, we both are beach girls and swimming pool babies. Both of us are into spirituality and we both do tarot reading. We have our fun times and love partying hard. We always have each other’s back. Though she is pure vegetarian and I eat both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. But we still have our favourite outings for lunches and dinners,” she says.

Ask her if she has ever got Munisha to do tarot reading for her, and she says, “Yes, in fact when she started learning Tarot in 2001, I was on shoot and she had got her cards. We were just sitting and seeing what the cards talk about me. She told me, ‘You need to take a vacation,’ And trust me, I needed one! And so this pushed me to do my first ever solo trip to Goa. Over the years, we both have helped each other spiritually.”
