In the beginning of the episode, Aditya gets the news of all the charges being removed from him. He prepares to propose to Imlie, she comes dressed and he asks her to be his wife. She tells him that she is already someone’s wife, she has flashbacks. Aryan says to Imlie that if he gives up on his revenge the Tripathi family will get back their son, but what will he get. She asks him what he wants, he says it’s her. He says he will prove Aditya innocent, but in return she has to marry him. She accepts the condition but only she’ll pretend to be his wife not actually marry him.
The whole Tripathi family stands stunned by the news. Imlie parts her hair from the middle and shows them the sindoor and then takes out her mangalsutra from behind the saree. Aditya asks her who’s wife she is, Aryan comes from behind and introduces Imlie as his wife. Aditya loses balance and hits the decorations. Aryan says to him to find his balance and pick himself as from now on Imlie won’t come to pick him up.
Ruby asks Imlie that why didn’t she tell her. Aditya says that it cannot be possible that his Imlie takes this decision. He holds Aryan’s collar, Aryan removes Aditya’s hand from his collar and says to Jim that Imlie isn’t his. He then says to Jim that he has told this before to him that Noone can lurke Imlie to do things not even him, he says she proposed to Imlie and she accepted and they got married.
Aditya asks Imlie did she really say yes to Aryan, the person who is after destroying him. Aditya says that she has betrayed him, Aryan tries to take her side but she asks him to not. She says to Aditya that she has not betrayed him, he was the one who got married twice with Malini. She says she doesn’t know why she came here, Aditya holding her hand stops her from leaving.
Aditya says to her to not protect him from the pain she went through, he says he wants to see them take pheras in front of him and he gets to see all the rituals happen. She thinks to herself that Aditya is asking for a wedding but how can she when the marriage is a pretense. Aryan says to Aditya that they will get married again, he invites him. Aditya says he will be there even if no one else comes.
Imlie comes out of the house and sits on the stairs and cries and wishes for Meethi to be there with her. She imagines Meethi with her, who says to her that she has always looked forward and never felt helpless as she can never lose the exam of life. Imlie then goes to hug Meethi and her daydreaming ends.
Upcoming- Aryan and Imlie sit in the mandap. She thinks to herself that she had to do something to avoid the wedding, she pretends to faint. Aryan picks her up and says to her that he took six pheras but the last one she’ll take from her will as he doesn’t force anyone to do such things.
