In the beginning of the episode, Puran Singh says to Aryan that he was the one who burned and killed Arvind. He says to Aryan that before he saw his brother-in-law die and now he’ll see his wife die. Puran Singh asks his men to put Imlie in the van. Imlie is put in a van and put in a liquid, tied with chains. Puran Singh says that the lights would make the van heat immensely. Imlie asks Aryan to close his eyes as he has seen enough pain and she doesn’t want him to suffer any further. Aryan feels helpless seeing her there.
Aryan thinks to himself that he has been feeling the pain for so long and now he has a chance to defeat it. He says to himself that he has lost everything, he says Imlie is fighting for him so he can’t give up and has to stand and fight for her. Aryan stands and Puran Singh’s men attack him and beat him badly. Aryan tries to stand back, but Imlie sees him losing breath, Imlie feels dizzy in the van. Aryan falls unconscious, Imlie screams his name and asks him to wake up, for Narmada and Arpita’s sake. She says to him to wake up to fulfill his promise of always staying with her, she asks him to wake for her sake.
Aryan breathes and wakes up, Imlie faints. Aryan beats the men and take Imlie out of the van. Puran Singh is about to attack Aryan from behind, Aditya beats him and saves Aryan and Imlie. Aryan asks Imlie to wake up and for once look at him. Imlie gains consciousness, they lock eyes and she hugs Aryan. Police come and arrest Puran Singh and his men, while Aryan and Imlie keep hugging each other.
Aparna, Ruby and Sundar arrive and ask Aditya how he is. Aparna then goes and asks Imlie and Aryan, she says to Aryan that he is very hurt and they have called for an ambulance. Aryan goes to Aditya and says thanks to him. Imlie says that Aryan needs to say something as well. Aryan apologizes for not finding the real culprit and targeting Aditya and says sorry to the family for all the pain he has caused.
Aparna praises Aryan, she says that it takes a man to apologize and realise his mistake. Aditya says to Aryan that he also has to apologize as he was supposed to do the research and find the truth and save Arvind. He says to Aryan that he will give a public apology tomorrow in the paper, but today he wants to apologize to him and his family.
Aryan after everyone leaves says to Imlie, that he is sorry for putting her through choices. He says to her that he is asking her to make a decision for herself and leave him as she doesn’t want the marriage. He says to her to not return as he will think he was right and he would think that she.
