In the beginning of the episode, Imlie in her room cries and thinks to herself that how nice Sundar is and how bad his mother is. She then says to herself that she doesn’t deserve her mother who is always nice to her and has given her unconditional love. She thinks to herself that how she should apologize to Meethi, Aryan from behind says a sorry speech Imlie’s accent. She says to him that she had to prepare for the apology, why is he coming in between. He says to her that if he had realized earlier that he was coming in between, then things would have been different. Aryan says to Imlie that the love and acceptance she has given to his family if he gives half of it to her will, it will be enough.
Aryan asks Imlie to pick up the phone and call Meethi. She does and asks the postmaster to call Meethi. Meethi comes behind Imlie and says that she is here for her, Imlie gets emotional but doesn’t turn. Imlie says tk her to nog talk nicely as she took one decision of her life and she got upset. Meethi says that it wasn’t her intention to stop her from making decisions for herself, she was just stopping her from making a mistake, to let her have happiness as Aryan is a nice guy.
Imlie asks Meethi how can she apologize, Meethi asks her to just hug her. Imlie turns and hugs Meethi, Aryan leaves while Meethi stops her and thanks her. Meethi thanks Aryan for getting her back with Imlie, he says it was because of him they got separated. Meethi says to them that they are inseparable, and hugs Imlie and Aryan.
Neela says to Sundar’s mother that she did the right thing by stopping Sundar from marrying a widow, she gives her some money. Meanwhile, Arpita gets upset and removes all the colorful things from her room, Narmada tries to stop her. Aryan and Imlie come there, Arpita says it’s her fault that she didn’t wear white after Arvind’s death as now people think that she didn’t love him. Imlie says to her that she doesn’t have to listen to everyone, as her family knows how tough it was for her to survive without Arvind.
Neela comes with Sundar’s mother to the room and says to Narmada that she tried to stop her but, Sundar’s mother wants to leave. Neela taunts that it’s not possible that everyone gets in favour of widow remarriage, Sundar’s mother says she is in favour of it. She holds Arpita’s hand and says Imlie’s words have opened her eyes. Neela takes Sundar’s mother to a corner, and Sundar’s mother says that she can’t let a gold laying egg get away. Neela encourages her to ask for dowry, and Sundar’s mother gets greedy.
Aryan looks at Imlie while holding flowers, and he asks her if she wants flowers. He sees the setup falling and saves Imlie, by holding her close to him. Meanwhile, Sundar’s mother asks for dowry from Narmada. Neela asks Narmada to give it, Meethi stops her, and Imlie supports her. After Neela and Sundar’s mother’s tactics, Narmada agrees to give dowry. Imlie says that she will call the police on anyone involved in dowry.
Upcoming- Imlie gets ready for the ceremony, she stands around the lights and gets excited. Aryan gets mesmerized and walks towards her.
