In the beginning of the episode, the family sees that there is a setup for a cooking competition. Narmada asks Aryan what is this setup, Aryan says to her that this is Imlie’s style to get fully known if Uday is the right guy for him. Neela says that the world hasn’t changed that much, that a guy will prove his usefulness. Gudiya says that will everyone let this happen, Imlie says to her that she had to imagine that she is married. Gudiya starts picturing, Imlie says that Gudiya has gotten ready and her husband asks her to cook and all her nails and clothes get dirty. Gudiya gets horrified, Imlie asks her if now she thinks her idea is wrong. Gudiya says it’s good.
Neela welcomes Uday, he comes with a bouquet covering his face and says that he wants to meet the person who had the idea for the cooking competition. Aryan introduces him to Imlie, she has a flashback and screams at him. She says that he is the same guy who was talking badly to an old woman. Uday says that he talked badly to her and says he is apologetic, but he was angry as the woman was trying to steal his purse.
Aryan says to Imlie that they can’t judge Uday on this one condition. Neela suggests Aryan also cooks for Imlie as she is the one who suggested this competition to check the compatibility. Aryan and Uday get dressed in aprons, Imlie goes to a side and calls Sundar. She says to him that Arpita’s mood isn’t well, and he has to cook for Arpita as she instructs him. Sundar says he’ll do anything for Arpita, She then goes and puts the phone on Arpita’s counter.
Arpita says that she likes kofta, and says she will tell the recipe. Uday struggles to switch on the stove, Arpita says that it’s easy. Uday gets annoyed and says that he can help himself, and she doesn’t have to tell him everything and the family notices this. Meanwhile, Imlie asks Aryan to cook thick roti as she cooked for him in the Dhaba. Aryan makes the roti with full dedication, he asks Imlie to taste it. She says to him to taste it first as he made it for him and it’s important that she likes it.
Imlie sits and tastes the roti, she doesn’t say anything. Aryan says to Imlie to not eat it as he will make another. She stops him and says to him that the roti taste is just like her mother’s. She gets emotional, and Aryan says to her to talk to Meethi. Meanwhile, Neela sees Sundar on the call and ends it. Narmada tastes Uday’s dish and says that Arpita can’t taste it as she is spice tolerant. Imlie says that the cooking wasn’t about the taste but compatibility and Uday had none with Arpita. Narmada agrees with Imlie and says the same compatibility was seen in Aryan and Imlie’s relationship.
Upcoming- Neela says that Imlie doesn’t want Arpita to settle with someone nice and she is doing this. She shows Imlie’s phone and says that Imlie wishes to get Arpita hitched with the servant.
