In the beginning of the episode, The Panditji comes and performs the rituals and after the pooja asks to take Imlie for the swing, everyone one by one swings Imlie. Jyoti has a flashback of her cutting the rope of the swing and swinging Imlie abruptly to break the rope, it breaks and Imlie falls down and rolls to the ground. Aryan gets to her and sees her unconscious, Arpita asks Sundar to call the hospital, but Aryan says that it will get late and he’ll take Imlie himself. Neela and Gudiya look towards Jyoti, being impressed and she has a flashback of cutting the rope.
At the hospital, the doctor comes out and tells the family that Imlie is well, and Aryan screams and asks if she is sure. The doctor asks Aryan to calm down as Imlie is well, Narmada asks the doctor how is the child. The doctor says that Imlie isn’t pregnant, Aryan says that they did a pregnancy kit test and it came out positive. The doctor says that the kit isn’t always accurate, and Narmada asks the doctor to run tests.
Gudiya says to Neela that she has visited the hospital the most since she has arrived at Aryan’s house, but this is the happiest she has been. Gudiya says that if Imlie isn’t pregnant it means she has a chance to win back Aryan. Neela says to Jyoti that she has put out the truth, and Jyoti says that the universe always supports her.
Imlie wakes and Aryan holds her hand, she asks him how their child is and nobody answers. She gets scared and asks them again, the doctor comes and Narmada asks what the report says and Imlie asks if her child is okay. The doctor says she is sorry to inform, but Imlie isn’t pregnant and it was just a wrong result. Aryan holds Imlie and says to her that way it was too soon for them, the doctor says that Imlie can never become a mother, and everyone gets emotional.
The doctor comes back to her office and Jyoti throws money at her and says that she did a good job. Jyoti says that she already knew the tests are wrong and she know she had to use the opportunity, so she asked her to lie that Imlie can never be a mother. She then asks the doctor to give her medicine that can stop her from getting pregnant, but the doctor says that she cannot do this as the family is very upset. Jyoti blackmails the doctor.
Imlie sees a mother with her kid and gets emotional. Aryan comes there and tells her that they still have a chance. He says to her that they will go to another hospital, and that there are other ways to become parents. Aryan after reaching home tries to cheer everyone up, while Neela manipulates Narmada to get Imlie seen by a Baba.
Upcoming- Narmada outside the temple says to Imlie that if she cannot become a mother then she can also not be her daughter-in-law. Narmada says that she will get Aryan married to Gudiya, and says to Imlie that she has to leave Aryan.
