In the beginning of the episode, Aparna says she is not against Malini but she is thinking of her child’s happiness. Imlie arrives and greets everyone. Ruby sees Imlie’s mehendi and asks Malini to look at it. She says to Malini that because Imlie has someone who loves her, her mehendi colour is so dark. Malini gets upset and goes to the kitchen, she asks Sundar to give her baking soda and rubs her hand with it. Sundar says to her to not do it as she will get hurt. Malini says to herself that Imlie gets everything easily but she has to work for it be it the colour of the mehendi. Aparna comes to the kitchen and stops her and says to her that she cannot force everything around her as she will also get hurt in the process. She says to her that she only wants love in her life and she will achieve it.
Imlie helps his colleague who doesn’t bring lunch, Aryan sees her. Aditya comes there and says to him that this is how she is like a butterfly who loves people easily and moves on quicker. Aryan says to him that he hates people who like to cage the butterfly. He says to him that he never loved Imlie if he did he would not compare her to a butterfly. He says Imlie will move on from him soon, but he doesn’t forgive easily.
Malini holds Aditya and says to him that why is he making it so obvious that he is affected by Imlie and Aryan’s relationship. She says to him that she is feeling like an extra in her own wedding. She reminds him that he was the one who announced the wedding and the date, but if he doesn’t want it anymore she’ll tell everyone. He stops her and says that he will do the wedding properly.
He brings Mailini in the hall where the Haldi setup is and puts haldi on Malini. Anu comes second and puts haldi and then asks the Tripathi’s to put the haldi, when they don’t come. She then asks Imlie to apply haldi as she is the sister-in-law. Imlie says she won’t break, and comes forward and applies haldi. Imlie by mistake drops the haldi bowl on Malini. Malini and Anu get angry at her, Aryan tells them to not dare and scream at her as she was the one joining the relationship and asking her to come and apply haldi.
Imlie to calm the situation asks the Dhol to be played. Malini asks Aditya to come and dance with him. Anu goes to the kitchen and says to herself that Imlie will pay for destroying Malini’s dress. Malini asks Aryan to dance with Imlie, as she requests as a client. Anu comes out of the kitchen and while Imlie is dancing uses a knife to tear Imlie’s clothes to cause her wardrobe malfunction. Aditya notices that and goes to help her but Aryan brings her close to him and holds her dupatta in place.
Upcoming- Anu showcases a lehenga and tells everyone that she has bought that for her daughter and it is very expensive, she asks Imlie if she has ever seen a lehenga this beautiful. The delivery boy says that this isn’t for Malini. Aryan says he ordered the lehenga for Imlie.
