The police arrive at Tripathi’s house and arrest Aditya for wrong reporting and causing problems. Aparna tries to call Imlie to tell her about the incident, Aryan in the meeting tries to keep Imlie away from her phone so that nobody from the Tripathi house can contact her. Imlie somehow manages to get her phone and tries to call Aparna. She in the hallway hears Aditya’s colleague talking about how they wrongfully blamed Aditya for the weather report and now he is going to jail.
Imlie arrives at the police station and stands beside Aparna and says to her that she knows everything and nothing will happen to Aditya. The media comes inside the police station and blames Aditya for people today losing trust in journalists. The head of the journalist society comes there and makes an announcement that Aditya would be banned from journalism for the next ten years and leaves. Aditya gets into a fight with a journalist who calls him a bad journalist. Imlie holds Aparna and asks her to rest, she says to her that she doesn’t need rest she needs her to help Aditya.
The head of the journalist society called Aditya thanked him for informing him about Aditya and how he tried to hamper the reputation of his news channel for office politics. Aryan in his office breaks a frame with Aditya’s photo and has flashbacks of his brother-in-law. He says that Aditya talks about principles but doesn’t stick to them. He says that he finally stole his voice that he used to destroy his brother-in-law with, to report and now Aditya is finished.
Imlie comes to the office, he turns and sees Imlie standing stunned at his gate. She says to him that he knew and got Aditya banned from journalism. She sees his bleeding hand and asks him how he got hurt, she then sees the frame with Aditya’s photo. She puts a bandage on his hand, he says to her to ask the question she wants to.
Imlie says to him that she doesn’t want to question him, she wants to understand him and his pain. He tells her that it was Aditya because of whom he and Arpita had to see his brother-in-law burn in front of them. He tells her that Aditya put accusations on his brother-in-law on the basis of a few workers which were false. He tells her that Aditya wrote many articles on it and not by his hand but by his words he ignited the fire.
Imlie says to him that she understands his pain but Aditya was just doing his work of reporting. Aryan says to her that she should know that wrong words can cause a lot of ruckuses. She says to him that it was a mistake, he says to her that Aditya is no kid that he can make mistakes as he is a journalist. Meanwhile, Aditya gets anticipatory bail.
Upcoming- Aryan says to Imlie that she is no mystery to him and she can’t play tricks on him, he owns her. She says to him that she thought he was her friend, and for that she requests him to come with her.
