Imlie is a girl from Pagdandia who is struggling to make her own identity. She wants to study and become so successful so that she can give all the luxuries to her mother. Imlie is a kind-hearted girl. Imlie wants to study and she is a very intelligent girl, but due to some circumstances, she got married to Aditya who doesn’t give her name.
We saw that Kunal told the truth to Aditya that he is not in a relationship with Malini. Aditya gets Shocked to know about this and confronts Malini for sacrificing herself. Aditya asks Malini why she did this. Aditya thanks Malini and said that he will always stand by her side as a friend.
Later, Malini decides to return in Aditya’s life where Imlie asked Malini to come with her but Malini lied to her and asks her to go. Aditya brings Malini home where Imlie said that Malini asked her to leave as she has some work in the college. Imlie gets surprised to see Malini’s behaviour towards her.
Due to this, Malini wants to take revenge and Aditya’s back in her life. Aditya asked about the party where Aparna said that if Imlie comes in party she will not come but Malini convinces Aparna for the party. Malini try to become good in everyone’s eye. Malini takes Imlie’s saree and wears it.
After all this, Malini wears Imlie’s saree and gives her another dress. Malini thinks that Imlie broke her trust so she was born do the same with her. Malini changes Imlie’s look where everyone in the party makes fun of her.
Imlie feels humiliated but Aditya comes there and stand by her side. He said to everyone that she is his wife and introduce Imlie to everyone. Malini feels jealous and asks start dancing with Aditya where Rupali and Pallavi asks about the saree. Malini says that what she wants to say. Aparna takes Malini and takes her side.
Later, Aditya asks Malini about the dress where Malini gets angry at them that he doesn’t trust her anymore and starts crying. Imlie confronts Malini for trusting her and asks her not to break her trust. Imlie said that she loves her too much. Dev comes to meet Imlie and said that he will support her. Where Malini said that he isn’t his daughter anymore. Dev said to Malini that she is ruining her life. Malini request Kunal not to say anything to Aditya and asked him to postpone the date of divorce.
