Imlie is a love story of two people who got married forcefully by the villagers. One who is young and spontaneous and the other a Strict journalist both on different stages in their lives. It’s a gripping story with new twists and turns in the journey of them finding love in each other.
In this week’s episode we saw, Aryan’s mother and Arpita come to the wedding and see Aryan and Imlie together. Aryan’s mother tells Arpita how beautiful they are looking together. Aparna thanks Aryan’s mother for coming. Aryan’s mother shows Aparna, Aryan and tells her that he is her son. Aparna and Aryan’s mother both introduce each other to Imlie. Anu says to Aryan’s mother that she needs to meet her daughter. Aryan says to her that Malini is the bride they are shooting for. Malini thanks Aryan for keeping their meeting a secret, he says to her that he didn’t do it for her so she doesn’t need to thank him.
Aditya and Malini continue the photoshoot to make Imlie jealous. He says he also has a pose in his mind, and gets down on his knees and takes Malini’s hand. Aryan stops him and says to his team that it’s a wrap for the day. Anu says to him without completing the last pose they cannot go. Aryan says to her that she might have signed a cheque and become his client but not boss. He then asks Anu to up her game with wedding planning as he has to put the wedding on page3 of his newspaper. He asks him Imlie to suggest an idea, she suggests Bollywood theme and Aryan asks Anu to get it done if they want the page3 coverage.
At Tripathi house everyone gets dressed for the ceremony. Anu says to them that they are like chameleons as they are changing colours and sides with their convenience. Aparna says to Anu that it is also her son’s wedding. Anu sees Imlie dressed as Simran and laughs at her. Anu makes fun of Imlie for being Simran and asks her that she should have become what she is a servant and laughs at her. Imlie says that everyone has become someone who they aren’t in real life. Malini says that isn’t true as she and Aditya have become Devdas and Paro, who’s love story also started with friendship. She says the only difference this time is that Devdas and Paro are going to end up together.
Nishant says to Ruby that they should put their plan in action. Both of them by excuse get Aditya and Imlie to a room. Imlie’s colleague’s talk about Imlie missing and Malini over hears them. She thinks to herself that if both of them are together they will discuss things and her truth will come out. Meanwhile, Imlie knocks on the door calling Ruby to get her out. Aditya asks her if she is getting scared with him. Aditya and Imlie talk about their relationship and he is about to say to her that she sent him the divorce papers. Malini opens the door and accuses Imlie of trying to steal her husband again from her.
Anu says at the party that the games they play should also be Bollywood themed. Anu says to Imlie that she is left alone and taunts that anyway who would like to become the partner of a servant. Imlie gets tears and is leaving. Aryan holds her hand and stops her from leaving the party and brings her face-to-face to him. She sees him dressed as Raj, Imlie and Aryan dance together happily as Raj and Simran. While Aditya gets jealous. Narmada says to Arpita that she thinks that Aryan and Imlie will be a fit for each other. Arpita says to her that Imlie has not moved on, she says to her that she sees hope when Imlie is with Aryan that he is happy around her.
Harish reaches outside the house and the goons ask him to pay their money or they will shoot him. Harish goes down on his knees and asks them to spare him and keep the house papers until he pays their money back. Aryan hears them and thinks to himself that he needs to find out more, as he thought that Harish was a simple man. Pankaj comes outside to get Harish inside the party and Aryan hides from their sight. Imlie goes to the kitchen to drink water. Malini comes there and requests her to help with applying lemon juice. Malini asks Imlie if she is coming tomorrow at the wedding, she says to her that her first wedding wasn’t complete without her then how could her second be so she’ll be there in time.
