Imlie is a love story of two people who got married forcefully by the villagers. One who is young and spontaneous and the other a Strict journalist both on different stages in their lives. It’s a gripping story with new twists and turns in the journey of them finding love in each other.
In this week’s episode we saw, Aryan comes to the kitchen and sees Imlie singing and asks her if she is okay. Imlie says she is fine and is the best cook and singer. Imlie and Aryan cook food together. She tells him that whatever she does next in her life she will do it by herself. Aryan gets tears while cutting onions and she makes fun of him. He says to her sometimes words hurt more, she says sometimes she doesn’t understand what he says. He says to her that he wants to ask her if she is really okay or is just pretending to be okay.
When Imlie is leaving, Aditya asks her that she is also leaving and not waiting any longer. He says to her that she follows every instruction of Aryan. Imlie says to him that now she wants to know that what did he see, did he see her and Aryan in a compromising position, she then says but she saw him and Malini in that position and yet gave him a chance to explain himself. Aditya asks her why she sent her the divorce papers. She asks him if he thinks that she sent him the papers.
Malini comes from behind and says that she sent the divorce papers and wanted to confess it because she is in love with Aditya and doesn’t want to hurt him. She says to them to give her a chance to explain. She says that she did it because she couldn’t see Aditya sad. She says that she did think that on their Anniversary everything will get fine, but then she saw Imlie and Aryan together and thought that Aditya will be heartbroken. She says but she is not the one to be blamed as she didn’t make them sign it was their own decision.
Imlie and Aryan work. Aditya arrives there and says to her that he wants to talk to her. She says to him he didn’t have anything to say to her. Aryan says to her to take a break. Aditya takes Imlie to a side and says to her that he knows that what Malini did was wrong, but he also thinks Malini is saying the right thing as she didn’t force them to sign the divorce papers. Imlie asks Aditya how she can make him believe that there is nothing between them. He says to her to break every tie with Aryan and not to meet him again. He says to her to return him and he’ll also say to Malini that he is just his responsibility. She says to him that he wants her to leave her identity and live beneath his, she says to him to be happy with his wife and kid.
Aryan calls for a meeting and says to the people in the meeting that they are the best journalists of Bhaskar times that’s why they are in the meeting. He shows them a voice recording of a naxalite and says to them that he wants someone to volunteer to bring his interview. Aditya says that he wants to do the assignment. Imlie says she wants to part of the project as she remembers last time he went to a risky project, he was about to be killed. Imlie and Aditya fight for an interview with a Naxal. Aryan says the naxal is from Pagdandiya. Imlie gets more worried as his last experience wasn’t good, Aditya says he will get the interview.
Aditya arrives at Pagdandiya and Imlie’s grandmother collects the villagers to attack Aditya as he has hurt Imlie and divorced her when he promised to take care of her. Aditya says to her that because he’s not married to Imlie it doesn’t mean he doesn’t respect her. She says to him that he wasn’t even sitting down with her once to drink tea and bow he’s talking about respect. She asks the people to attack him. Meethi blocks the villagers and protects Aditya from getting beaten. She says to her mother that to not act stupid and asks the villagers to leave.
