At the beginning of the episode, Karan says that he likes kids too but he doesn’t want the child just because of so that the Luthras can work out the family’s misery. He adds that he also wants a baby but they should give him some time. Preeta wants that she too should have a daughter who gives happiness to all. She tells that Dadi and Kareena also want the same. Karan wants to know if she is doing all this because of Kareena. Preeta refuses and tells that it is her decision.
Preeta hugs Karan. Both remember the past moments. There Mahira is sleeping in her room. Prithvi comes to her room and wants Mahira to meet Sherlyn as Sherlyn is her good friend so she should inquire about her well-being. Mahira lies that she is not feeling well. Prithvi asks her not to lie. Mahira gets nervous and says that she is not lying. Prithvi confronts her that he knows that Sherlyn had an accident because of her.
He threatens her that he will punish Mahira. He adds that Sherlyn is in a lot of pain because her child has been killed due to Mahira. He adds that he cannot handle Sherlyn’s pain but he can comfort her by punishing Sherlyn’s culprit. Mahira pretends as if she doesn’t understand anything. Prithvi asks her to stop her drama as he knows her truth.
He asks her to commit her crime or else he will disturb her so much that she will not want to live. Mahira tells him to keep quiet as she did nothing wrong. Mahira says that it is not her fault as Sherlyn herself wanted to push Preeta in front of the truck but she became a victim of an accident. Prithvi confronts her that she has just confessed that she was at the accident site.
He threatens her that he will tell the entire Luthra family that he was the one who tried to harm Sherlyn. There Rakhi remembers how she was informed by the Dr that Sherlyn’s child is dead. She starts crying loudly. Karan and Preeta come to Rakhi. He tells Rakhi that she does not need to be sad as she can get back what she has lost. Karan adds that he and Preeta also want to be parents.
Rakhi gets happy and hugs Karan. Here Mahira warns Prithvi that if he tries to make any such mistake then she will tell everyone that Sherlyn had gone to kill Preeta and Sherlyn’s child was also not of Rishabh and belonged to Prithvi. Prithvi gets angry. Prithvi asks her to leave the house but Mahira says that no one can drive her out of this house and she will teach him a lesson. There Saral comes to visit the Luthra family and assures them that soon happiness will knock again in their house. Mahira comes and wants to tell something to Kareena. While Prithvi tells everyone that Mahira wanted to kill Sherlyn.
