At the beginning of the episode, Sonakshi says that she never wanted to let her past spoil her today. When she came to Mumbai, she saw Karan’s car. Her father had also fixed her marriage so she thought that she would invite all her friends. But she didn’t know that she was inviting her past. Rajat calls Sonakshi a liar. Karan asks him to keep quiet.
Rajat leaves from there. Archana advises Preeta not to inflict superstition on anyone. Saying this she leaves. Yashvardhan says that if Sonakshi had told him that Karan is the father of her child, he would have got Sonakshi married to him. Karan looks at Preeta. He goes to her. Preeta avoids him and asks Srishti to ask the driver to put everyone luggage in the car. Now she will go home.
There Sarla wakes up from sleep. She feels that Preeta has called her. She goes outside and sees that the Akhand Diya is blown out. She tries to light Diya again but gets worried when she is unable to do so. She feels that Preeta is in trouble. Here Karan they all come to Luthra house. Girish says that he knew that they are going to come so he has prepared good food for them.
Preeta leaves from there without saying anything. Karan goes after her. Rakhi feels that she should talk to Preeta. But Dadi wants her to leave Karan and Preeta alone. Rakhi gets angry as the happiness of their house will be ruined because of Sonakshi. Here Karan tries to talk to Preeta. But Preeta locks herself in the bathroom as she does not want to talk to Karan.
She starts crying. Karan’s eyes also get moist. Dadi asks Rakhi to take care of herself. Rakhi is sad as she feels that Preeta and Karan’s relationship may be strained due to Sonakshi’s truth. She feels that Sonakshi’s past has outweighed Preeta and Karan’s today. And happiness came into their house after so many days, but this happiness was also taken away from them. Kareena says everything will be fine.
Rakhi does not believe this as Karan has cheated on Preeta. If she had a daughter, she would not let her stay in her in-laws’ house. Then Rakhi starts feeling weak, Mahesh takes her to the room. Kritika tells Prithvi that they should also go to her room. Prithvi refuses because he has some work. Kritika says okay. Prithvi further thinks that he will not sleep today as there is going to be a rift in the relationship between Karan and Preeta.
Preeta comes out of the bathroom. She is going to the guestroom. Sarla calls Preeta. She asks her if she is fine. Preeta doesn’t say anything. Sarla feels that Karan is with Preeta so she need not worry. She feels that she will be happy as long as the truck car is with her. Preeta tells Sarla that she is tired. Sarla asks her to take a rest. Then she hangs up the call.
