At the beginning of the episode, Sarla closes the door and sits down. Srishti asks her to open the door. Sarla asks why did God do this to Preeta. She says that a lot of calamities came in her life but she never said anything but she cannot see her daughter in sorrow.
She prays to maharani that she should not take the test of her daughter. While Srishti is constantly knocking on the door but Sarla does not give her any answer. Here Karan is upset as Preeta is avoiding him. He punches the wall in anger. He gets hurt in his hand. He feels that Preeta is with him.
He opens his eyes and Preeta disappears from his sight. Preeta is also unable to sleep in her room. She is also very upset. She closes her eyes. She feels as if Karan has given her voice. She opens the door and sees Karan in front of her. She goes to the room. Karan follows her.
He asks Preeta what is she trying to do. Preeta says that she is suffering a lot. Karan tells that he is in trouble because Preeta is not talking to him. Preeta informs him that she is not angry with him but still she is sad because of Sonakshi’s words.
She is angry with herself and is unable to accept this. She feels that he will now sympathize with Sonakshi. Karan tells her that he only cares about Preeta. Preeta hugs him and says that it is good that she has got Karan as his life partner. The next morning Preeta opens her eyes. She smiles seeing Karan.
Dadi asks Rakhi why she is upset. Rakhi is upset as she feels that Karan and Preeta’s relationship may break because of Sonakshi. Dadi shares that she is also sad because if Sarla comes here, she will take Preeta away. And they won’t be able to stop her because Sarla will be right this time.
Rakhi feels that she will not tell anything to Sarla as she is a sensible girl. Kareena feels the same way. While Sherlyn is waiting for Sarla. She thinks that earlier she did not like Sarla’s coming but today she sincerely wants Sarla to come here and teach Luthras a lesson.
Prithvi asks Sherlyn why is she smiling. Sherlyn tells him that soon Sarla is going to come here and make a spectacle. Preeta comes. Prithvi feels that Preeta is now going to divorce Karan. But later he learns that almost all is well between Preeta and Karan. Then Sarla comes there. Everyone is surprised to see her.
Preeta hugs Sarla. Rakhi gives Sarla an invitation for tea. Sarla wants to talk to Preeta first. Janki tells Srishti that they too should go to the Luthra house. But Srishti refuses as it might anger Sarla. Srishti feels that her mother can do anything in anger. She says that she will go there only when Sarla calls her. Here Preeta tells Sarla that she did not want to hide this thing from her. Sarla interrupts her and says that Preeta will go to Arora House with her now.
