Nyrraa M Banerji: It’s unfortunate that we have lost so many people to suicide

This year we lost a number of talented artists from the entertainment industry, including television actress Tunisha Sharma. The 20-year-old actress committed suicide and her funeral was held on December 27.
Is the entertainment industry a tough place to deal with love and loss? Heartbreaks lead to extreme action like suicide, so how can one stop it?
Speaking about that, the lead actress of Pishachini Nyrraa M Banerji shares her point of view. She says,”It’s very sad to hear that a 20 year old, popular and upcoming, budding actress committed suicide like this. We don’t know her reasons but I would really like to say that it’s very unfortunate. Committing suicide it’s a very extreme step. There must have been a strong driving force that led her to take that extreme step which we will not understand. I feel killing yourself and taking away your life which is a gift of God is not a nice thing. In Fact she was a budding actress. She was popular, people knew her, she had done so much work. She had her whole career ahead. When you’re in that emotional state of mind, it is just a matter of one pause and thinking about whether it is really worth taking away one’s life when they have an entire career ahead. Obviously the upbringing which your parents have given, the hard work everybody is doing for you to be where you are, your education, the love, family everybody around you are all factors to considered. It’s unfortunate that we have lost so many people to suicide.”
