“I felt good as I am very much comfortable with my body though if I got enough time or told prior I would have worked on my six-pack abs in a week’s time. But it’s my first scene of the show in front of the whole cast alongside Shabir [Ahluwalia] and the rest of the crew. I was concerned as to how it would come out but thankfully it went great,” he says.
This is the very first time that Ranveer went bare-bodied on screen. “The sequence is high voltage drama as it’s my introduction shot which will show my character in the show. I will be shown humiliating my on-screen mom and Shabir Ahluwalia. What follows is Shabir getting angry at me and later on I getting back at him as per the story,” he adds.
Not every guy is comfortable doing bare body sequences. “Yes, not everyone is comfortable with their body because of the stereotypical mindset of ideal perfect physique. As we can take the best example of our own current Miss Universe Harnaz Kaur Sandhu, she is from my hometown Chandigarh. She shares how much she had to hear for her weight gain, how all that makes a lot of people conscious about their body. I personally believe that we should love how God has created us and just flaunt it,” he urges everyone to stay positive.
