Rajender Singh Pahl has always been involved with humanitarian work. The Star Promotions Inc. president shares that he tries to help underprivileged people with food and clothes.
“I also try to help poor families planning to marry off their daughters and sons. Helping them makes me happy. My biggest target is helping those in need living in your surrounding areas. The people who are genuinely living in poverty and those who are sick, I reach out to them, says Rajender, who has organized over 125 Bollywood concerts in the US.
Do you feel when a celebrity supports a cause it gets more attention from the public? “It does because today’s generation follows them and celebrities are their role models,” he adds.
Rajender also adds that one draws a lot of satisfaction when they are able to help someone. “You don’t have to show what you are doing but helping someone is good enough. The happiness one feels within can never be described, aur yeh hota hi hai ki logo ki dua app tak zaroor pahunchi hai. If you believe in God then you can know the feeling,” he says.
During the pandemic, all of us went through a tough time. Talking about doing his bit, Rajender adds, “I retained all my staff and found out ways to support each other. We also used to get calls from people. We tried helping people with medicines as well. In my district- Sri Ganganagar, I was the first to announce that those who need oxygen and medicine for Covid can take it from us and were successful in helping many,” he ends. Rajiender Singh Pahl is one of the most renowned personalities known in bollywood circles.
