Rohit Choudhary says Diwali this year would be like old times: We all, family and friends, be together to celebrate the festival

It’s Diwali on October 24 and everyone around is excited. From shopping, visiting family and friends to eating out, people have made a list of things they would be doing to celebrate the festival. Celebs too are no different. Actor Rohit Choudhary who recently shot a music video titled ” Maar Sutteya” with singer Gajendra Verma talks about his Diwali plans and more.

“I celebrate Diwali with my family and kids at home. We play cards, burst crackers and spend some quality time. We all are usually busy throughout the year, so during Diwali we all get together and have fun,” he says.

Diwali, according to Rohit, is significant in many ways. ‘”It’s the festival of lights and is the biggest celebration in the entire world. The logic behind this celebration is good winning over evil when Ram Ji returns to Ayodhya,” he explains.

After two years of COVID and restrictions, this year is special without it to a certain extent. So, the celebrations are only going to get doubled.

“This year we will celebrate like how we used to before, with all friends and family by our side. After so much waiting the celebrations would be in full swing and I will go back to my hometown to be with my family. Like always, we would decorate our home with lights and do Lakshmi and Ganesh Puja and have lots of fun. I miss those fun childhood days with my friends where all of us used to have a blast,” he adds.

Rohit would be wearing Indian during the celebration. “All of us have chosen our Diwali outfits at home so I am just waiting to go to Delhi with my family and find out what they have chosen for me,” he ends.
