#Mother’sDay: Celebrity Astrologer Saurish Sharma talks about the significance of moms in astrology and our life

In astrology Mother is denoted by the planet moon. And, the moon also represents emotions, mental peace, liquid money, confidence, heart and water bodies, Saurish Sharma. The celebrity astrologer, who has worked with the likes of Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Sharad Malhotra, Adaa Khan, Sandip Soparrkar, Emraan Hashmi, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma and Rashami Desai, talks about the significance of Mother’s Day.

“We can evaluate the importance of the moon by knowing that a normal human body is made up of up to 60% of water. And the existence of nature can’t be imagined without water. Even scientifically it is believed that life originated in seawater because seawater contained all the essential elements that were required for the origin of the first life. This explains a lot about the importance of the moon in astrology. A mother plays the most important role in bringing up a child. Most noteworthy, she plays a huge role in determining a child’s attitude during her upbringing,” he says.

He continues that if anyone is not at peace or has an emotional imbalance or running low in confidence or having trouble with the liquid cash clearly suggests that the moon is getting affected in the horoscope.

“There are many ways in astrology by which a person’s Moon can get afflicted, but we will not discuss it here. I will definitely provide you with some simple remedies by which you can balance your moon and the issues that you all are facing due to the same will get resolved. The simplest way to empower your moon is to drink water in a Silver Glass (but not after Sunset), donate jaggery to Shiva Linga on Mondays, take blessings from your mother by touching her feet every day before you leave home, by donating milk/rice to beggars and homeless people,” he adds.

When it comes to a mother and son relationship, nothing materialistic in the world could satiate her needs. “So I would rather like to take her to a good family vacation where I get to spend a lot of quality time with her, which presently I am not able to do due to my work commitments. But I will do something soon. Maybe we can go out camping, watch the sunset, eat exotic cuisines together and have a hearty conversation,” he says about his plans for Mother’s Day.

Recalling fond memories with his mother, he adds, “It amuses me to remember how my mother used to do the homework for me and sometimes also fill up the entire notebooks by copying notes from my friends’ notebooks because I won’t do it myself. She wanted me to excel in academics and made sure I did all my homework so that I wouldn’t get scolded by the teachers at school. The amount of effort she put into teaching me during the exams by spending sleepless nights is something I cherish now as it shows her love and care towards me. Lastly I would like to say, ‘A Mother is the one who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take’.”
