Simaran Kaur turns Santa this Christmas

Simaran Kaur first gave her voice to the character Nobita in the children’s TV series “Doraemon” when she was just 10 years old, and since then Nobita has been a big part of her life. Though it all came to an end after 10 years, she refuses to part away from it. The actress has quite often surprised her young fans by sending them audio recordings in Nobita’s voice, but this Christmas she took the extra mile to make it a happy day for a six-year-old boy.

When she learned that a young fan has made a wish to speak to Nobita on Christmas day, Simaran accepted it without even giving it a second thought. Despite being unwell, she recorded a voice message for the kid and promised to speak to him on Christmas. And while the kid waited to speak to Nobita, she was also excited to be his secret Santa this year. On Christmas Day, Santa granted the young boy’s wish and he spoke to Nobita for good a five minutes.

She said, “I love it when people ask me to talk in Nobita’s voice. Nobita has been a big part of my childhood, and by talking to these young kids in Nobita’s voice I am just trying to make their childhood beautiful. I just casually talk to them about me (Nobita), Doraemon, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo, and also ask them to be good, and have healthy food (laughs).”

“I have always believed that we should all try to make this world a beautiful and happy place, and I am just doing my bit by making these kids happy,” Simaran ended.
