At the beginning of the episode, Mithila gives a paper to Gopika which has the speech for the evening. She says she has written in Gujarati but Gopika must speak in English. Gopika gets worried. Ashi gets happy that now everyone will know that Gopika is uneducated. Gopika hesitates. Meenal asks Mithila to let Gopika enjoy the day. Mithila says it is her responsibility and she is sure Gopika will speak very well in English.
Gopika asks Ashi if they had told Mithila that she does not know English. Ashi says Mithila knows everything but she is giving her this chance. Gopika asks Ashi to help her in preparing. Ashi says she does not have time. Gopika thinks she must ask Saksham for help.
Ashi calls Ramila and asks why she is looking upset. Ramila says Gopika is gone, so she has to do all the work. Ashi tells her that people are coming to meet her and Gopika this evening. She asks why her credit card is not working as she has to shop for herself. Ramila says she maxed it out for the maid. Ramila tells her to call any shop and they will come running. Ashi is confused but Ramila says there is no problem with money in Modi’s house. Ashi calls the showroom and orders clothes and jewelry.
Gopika brings clothes and jewelry to the room. Saksham is working. Gopika thinks she will ask him to help her in introducing everyone in English. Saksham asks what all that stuff is. She tells it is for the function. Saksham says she must be happy to receive new clothes and jewelry every day. She says she is happy. Saksham tells her to go away and let him work. Gopika goes to Tejal’s room to ask her help. Gopika tells Tejal that she has only studies till 8th grade in Gujarati medium. Tejal turns but she is wearing headphones. Gopika tries to tell her but Mithila calls her.
Tejal helps Chirag in choosing some gifts for Ashi. Hiten brings Ramila to the market. Ramila sees Chirag and Tejal in the showroom and goes inside.
Ashi’s packages come home. Mithila is livid to know that it costs Rs. 11 lakh. She asks the delivery guy who ordered all this. The guy says it was Mrs. Modi. Ashi gets scared. Mithila asks Ba and Meenal if they ordered this stuff and they say no. She asks Ashi and Ashi denies it. Ba says now only Gopika is remaining. Ashi gets scared. Mithila goes to her room asks Gopika. She asks Gopika if she ordered stuff from the local shop.
Ramila looks at a necklace in the showroom and pretends to be emotional. Chirag asks her what happened. She says she remembered the past as this necklace was his mother’s and she had to sell this for Ashi and Gopika’s marriage. Chirag says he will buy this necklace for her. Ashi calls Ramila and tells about the shopping fiasco. Ramila says Mithila should learn something from Chirag.
Saksham says all this stuff must be Gopika’s as she enjoys such things and jewelry. Mithila says if Gopika had ordered all that then she would have kept it in her room. Saksham says he knows her better. Saksham asks to look at the bill.
Ashi tells Ramila that the bill just shows Mrs. Modi. Saksham shows the bill to Mithila and says the bill says, Mrs. Gopika Modi. Ramila had told Ashi to write Gopika’s name on the bill. Gopika is scared.
