At the beginning of the episode, She says she respects all her relationships but she learnt to respect herself from her and will not take insult now. Gopika heads towards the door. Mithila says what about the relationships she made with her and others in the family.
Ashi feels happy that now she will be only BAHU of Modi family. Gopika hopes Mithila will understand her predicament. Power goes off. Gopika leaves as Mithila watches her. Ba asks Mithila why there is darkness. Mithila says darkness hides some things like Lakshmi going out of the house.
Saksham hears her and asks what she means. He says a liar and cheat cannot be Lakshmi of the house. Mithila says she is not required to answer all his questions. She asks him to find out the cause of the power cut. Ashi comes and asks for Ba and Mithila’s blessing to carry out her responsibilities. Ba gets scared to see Ashi’s face as she did make up in the dark. Mithila shows her her own face.
Mithila scolds her and tells her to wash her face. She says she must do all the work that Gopika did before. Saksham comes but Mithila ignores him. Driver tells Gopika that road is blocked so he cannot go further. Gopika says she is used to walking so she will go.
Gopika reaches home. Ramila does her AARTI with a unlighted Diya and says there is no matchstick and ghee. She brings her inside and gives her a broom to start cleaning the house to set it right. Anand scolds Ramila not to break her hopes further. Gopika says she is not upset but happy as Ramila still thinks of her as their own. Anand says this house will always be hers.
Tejal thinks she will take revenge on Gopika now. Anand and Hiten ask Gopika to eat but she stays quiet. Gopika cries on Anand’s shoulders. She says she had hoped that Saksham will understand her but he never looked at her. Anand says Saksham is wrong in not understanding her so why should she cry. He encourages her to move forward and what is hers will come back to her. Hiten feeds her food.
Gopika goes to her room and thinks her room has changed completely. She sets her stuff. Tejal comes and snaps at her for taking her room. Tejal says she will turn her life into a living hell. Tejal takes out her clothes and burns them. Ramila comes and asks Gopika to bring a bucket of water. Tejal warns them not to bring water.
Gopika tells Tejal that those are her own clothes. Tejal gets shocked and asks to bring water. Gopika explains what happened. Ramila supports Tejal and says this room is Tejal’s bedroom and she should sleep in the kitchen. Tejal wonders why Ramila supported her. Ramila thinks she will get money from her family. Gopika sets her stuff and sleeps on the floor in the kitchen.
Mithila feels regretful. Ba asks why she did not stop Gopika. Mithila says Gopika said this is about her self-respect, so she could not stop her.
