At the beginning of the episode, Gopika takes the stage. Ashi feels happy that Gopika will be thrown out of Modi’s house today. Ramila thinks if Gopika opens her mouth, all her plans will get ruined. She thinks she must save Gopika. She goes to a waiter and argues that the snack has burgers, french-fries, not dhokla.
Gopika starts her speech by welcoming everyone. Ramila stands next to a reporter and says everyone just apes west now and is forgetting their own culture. The reporter asks Gopika to stop and says they want to hear Gopika in Hindi, as it is their own language. Mithila says Gopika can express herself in Hindi as well as in English. She asks Gopika to speak in Hindi. She tells Gopika to speak from her heart.
Gopika thinks she prepared her speech in English, now what to speak in Hindi. She takes out her spectacles, so everything blurs. She thinks of her marriage and the whole family. She starts by introducing herself. She says the past few days in this family have been the best days of her life. She says Mithila treated her like Yashoda Ma and Meenal and Ba supported her during her tough times. She says Saksham is her strength and she respects him a lot. She says she has to learn a lot from him. She says many feel Mithila chose her randomly, but only a jeweler knows how to cut a diamond. She says she is lucky to be a part of this family, as they all love her including the cow, Nandini. She says she wants to come up to their expectations. She thanks, everyone. Everyone praises her. Tejal hugs her. Mithila tells Mr. Modi that Gopika made her proud.
Mithila introduces Gopika to other guests. Mithila tells her to talk to Uma Ben in English, as she prefers western culture more than their own. Uma says Mithila is just joking. Gopika calls her a black frog. Gopika calls her husband an angry gorilla. They get offended and go from there. Mithila says she shut their mouths in English. Mithila says she just wants her to be respected.
Ashi is furious to see everyone praising Gopika. Gopika comes and thanks to her for her help. Tejal takes Gopika for a selfie-and hands over the speech paper to Ashi. Mithila takes that paper to read as it is Ashi’s thoughts about the family. Ashi gets worried. Tejal asks Gopika and Saksham to stand close to each other for the photo. She makes Saksham put his hand on Gopika’s waist and her hands on his shoulder.
Mithila says she will ask Saksham to read the paper for him. Chirag comes there and Mithila asks him to read to him. Ashi thinks she dug the pit for Gopika and now she herself is stuck. Chirag tells Mithila all good things instead of what is written. Mithila gets happy and goes from there. Ashi says it was just a joke. Chirag warns Ashi to never hurt his family.
Mithila sees Saksham and Gopika posing. Tejal says they are going to be featured on Bhai’s number 1 account, but Ba says another guy VJ is now number 1. Saksham tells Gopika to go away as the photo is done. Mithila notices the tension between them.
