At the beginning of the episode, the scene is of the morning routine in a crowded chawl. Gopika is introduced praying to Lord Krishna. She is a talented artist and is sketching. Her mami Ramila comes and scolds Gopika for wasting time. Gopika says she was making a necklace for Kanha Ji. She says her daughter Ashi is coming back after so many days and asks if she cleaned her room and prepared other things. She screams at her for not putting clothes for drying. Gopika sees that color has fallen on the laptop. She thinks she will clean the laptop along with clothes.
Ashi is in the Mumbai market when her mother calls her where she is. She says he is outside a jewelry shop. Ramila is happy that she is following her boss Saksham. Ramila asks if she could get close to Saksham. Ashi says he is only focused on his work. Saksham is checking a diamond as he owns a jewelry business. Ramila asks Ashi if Saksham agreed to marry her. Ashi says he agreed but he has kept one condition.
Gopika is cleaning the laptop. Ramila looks for Ashi’s laptop and goes to the terrace. Ramila is worried and runs upstairs to stop Gopika. Gopika gives the laptop back. She says clean the laptop with a cloth. She says she is not as silly to wash the laptop. Ramila rebukes her and tells her to make tea.
Gopika is making tea when Mama ji shows her newspaper. He says Mithila Modi, who is from the family of the biggest jewelry owners in the city, has declared a competition and she must finish her designs to send there. Gopika is unsure because she is just an amateur. Mama Ji encourages her to complete her designs as he believes in her talent. She goes leaving tea on gas.
Ashi asks Saksham if he was in a relationship as rumours say. Saksham says it was just a rumour. Ashi asks why he agreed to marry her. Saksham says he agreed because no other girl will agree to his condition of not having kids. He says he is not bound to answer her questions.
Gopika completes the jewelry designs for Kanha Ji. She forgets all about the tea. Ramila screams at her for burning tea and wasting gas. Ramila says this is why her father left him and went away and her Mama brought her here. She scolds her husband for bringing her here. Gopika says she will make tea again. Ramila says no more gas will be wasted for making tea. Mama Ji asks how can tea be made without gas. Ramila makes a chulha with bricks and puts all of Goipka’s designs in chulha and asks Gopika to burn them and make tea. Gopika lights a match and burns the design she has just completed for the competition. She makes tea on the chulha while crying. Ramila gives Gopika tea and forces her to drink. Ramila says Goikpa never does anything till she scolds her. She tells her to clean the ashes. Gopika cries looking at the ashes. Mama ji apologies to her for not being able to take a stand for her. Gopika says it was her fault. Mamaji says she should not leave hope and Krishna will soon show her the right direction.
Mithila Modi is introduced and she asks “rasode me kaun tha”. She scolds the staff for cooking rice in the pressure cooker as Saksham does not like rice cooked in a pressure cooker and they are not healthy. She tells them they are irresponsible and someone will come to reign them in. She says her bahu will come who will manage this house even better than her, she will be capable and fearless.
Gopika says she is not capable and she gets scared of everything. Mama ji says someone will come to show her the right path soon.
