At the beginning of the episode, Saksham and Ashi get stuck in the street outside Ramila’s home. She makes way for the car. She tells them to come home. Gopika is washing clothes. She comes out to meet Ashi but Ashi puts luggage on her head and sends her back. Saksham helps her as she is about to fall. He takes one suitcase from her head to help her. Ramila says Gopika is dumb and does small jobs around the house. Saksham invites Ashi to the party at his home. Ramila says they will definitely come. Ashi thanks him for accepting her as his wife. He says the final decision is his mother’s only.
Mithila is checking arrangements for Saksham’s welcome. She says Saksham is returning home after a year so she must check everything herself. She gets mad looking at flowers that are stale. Saksham comes home. He touches her feet but she steps away. Mithila says he must touch his birth mother’s feet first. Saksham says he was just checking if his mother has forgotten how to scold him. He touches the feet of his Chhoti Ma and then Mithila who has raised him. He meets Ba who asks for her gift of the latest lipstick.
Ashi brings gifts for everyone except Gopika. She gives an old, stained dupatta to her and says it is the latest fashion in Mumbai. Gopika says she really liked it. Ramila and Ashi say Gopika is so dumb. Ramila tells Ashi to not make any mistake in the evening and to impress Saksham’s mother. Ramila says she will tell her how to impress Mithila.
Mithila welcomes Saksham by doing “aarti”. She tells him to meet his father, but Saksham says he can meet him later. His brother Chirag tells him about the jewelry design competition. His sister Tejal says Saksham hasn’t changed at all. Mithila says it is because she has given Saksham good values. Tejal tells her mother that Saksham is her son but Mithila always shows her right on him. She says Mithila has done a lot for this family. She says Mithila gave away her husband to get her sister married and give a child to this house. She says Mithila has a very big heart.
Ramila asks Gopika to make designs for Modi’s competition. Gopika avoids sketching that because Ramila burnt all her designs. Ramila says she wants to see her at the top, so she should make a nice design. Ashi says Ramila thinks she and Gopika are the same. Ramila says it will be Gopika’s design and her impression.
Tejal is going to the salon when Mithila asks her that she must come to the temple with her. Chirag laughs so she says she has kept puja for Saksham’s welfare and to find a good wife for him.
Ashi and Ramila are getting ready. Gopika comes ready for the party. Ramila takes the design. She tells Gopika to open her hair as that suits her a lot. Ramila and Ashi are ready to go in the taxi when Gopika also sits in the front seat. Gopika practices introducing herself to Mithila. Ramila and Ashi feel embarrassed. Ramila stops the car at the temple and asks Gopika to take blessings. Gopika asks for the design to take blessings but Ramila says it will get spoilt. Ramila asks the driver to go as soon as Gopika gets out.
Gopika is confused if Ramila did this on purpose. She prays to Kanha ji that she could not take the design herself but Ashi will take it. She says why she is not as bright as Ashi. She says when will her mentor come. Mithila is coming to the same temple.
