At the beginning of the episode, Gopika trips and Saksham supports her. He scolds her for disturbing his meeting. Ashi asks Chirag for his favorite dish. Chirag says Mushroom pie, dosa or poha. Ashi cannot make anything. Chirag finally says to make bread butter. Ashi says she will make the best bread butter for him.
Tejal sees a video where the new VJblogs have demeaned her as a rich, spoilt brat. Gopika asks Tejal something but she snaps at her. Meenal scolds Tejal for talking this way to her bhabhi. She says now they will also call her a spoilt brat and goes from there. Meenal asks Gopika not to mind her. Gopika asks Meenal what Saksham likes for breakfast. Meenal’s tells her to make hashbrowns. Meenal tells Ashi to make chilla and pickle. Ashi looks for chilla recipes on the internet. Gopika asks Ashi what hashbrown is. Ashi thinks she should make Gopika prepare the chillas. She tells Gopika that hash-brown means chilla. Gopika says it is too easy and makes chillas while Ashi takes it easy.
Mama ji looks for iron, while Ramila makes food in the kitchen. Mama ji tells that she makes too much mess and asks her to take a maid. Ramila says there is no need for a maid as Gopika will soon be back. Mama ji is shocked, so she says she is just missing Gopika. Ramila thinks once Ashi is settled in that house, she will disclose Gopika’s truth and she will again be a maid in this house.
Everyone sits for breakfast. Chirag asks why husbands eat before wives. Ashi takes the chilla away and serves them to Chirag and others. Chirag says it is very nice and he has never eaten such a good chilla in his life. Mithila asks Gopika where her breakfast is. Gopika is silent. Mithila asks again. Gopika is about to say that she made chilla but Ashi says she thanks everyone for liking the chilla. She pretends that she was scared that noone will like her. Everyone pacifies her. She says she is very happy that they accepted her. Gopika is shocked.
Mithila says Ashi did well today and hopefully she will continue the same way in the future also. Mithila says Gopika disappointed her today. Gopika says sorry. Ba says Saksham’s choice is so complex that she would have gotten confused. Ba says Gopika can serve water. Mithila says this is not their family’s tradition. Gopika says she will make Saksham’s favourite breakfast right away, but Saksham says there is no need as he only likes Mithila’s cooking.
Mithila takes Gopika to one side and asks her if she knows how to cook. Gopika says she knows cooking well. Mithila asks how she could commit such a mistake then. Gopika sees that Ashi is being praised and keeps quiet. Mithila says she will give her another chance.
Mithila announces that Ganesh Chaturthi is starting and the new brides must welcome Bappa by making MODAKS. Ashi says that they will make it together. Mithila stops her and says that they must make 50 MODOAKS each and offer them separately. Saksham says how can she give such responsibility even after what Gopika did today. Mithila says God also forgives one mistake. She warns Gopika not to repeat it.
Ashi calls Ramila and tells about MODAK. Ashi asks how to make them. Ramila asks her to get them made by Gopika. Ashi tells that Mithila has asked them to make them separately and asks her to make and bring for her. Ramila says she will do something. Gopika makes Modak. Ashi sees her
