At the beginning of the episode, Mithila and Gopika are stuck in the fire. Gopika tries to save her. They both manage to escape together while Mithila takes her by hand. Ramila comes there and takes Gopika away in the dark. Saksham says sorry to Mithila for not being there with her in the time of trouble. Mithila says she has found a girl who is right for him as well as this family. Ba says Mithila has lost her mind after the fire.
Mithila hears this and says she is confident that only that girl is right for him. She says this girl is fearless as she jumped in the fire to save her. Saksham asks who this girl is. Mithila says he could not see this girl in smoke but she remembers her touch. Saksham says he must find the girl to thank her. Mithila says she must either be one of the guests or the catering staff. Mithila finds Gopika’s shoe which she left trying to put out the fire.
Ramila scolds Gopika for leaving her shoe there as it costs money. Gopika says she made this shoe herself out of waste material. Ramila says she will stay barefoot the next day as punishment. Mithila says they must find the girl who the shoe fits. Tejal says she will announce it on her social media. Chhoti ma says so many girls’ feet will fit this shoe, but Mithila says she is confident that the girl made this shoe herself.
Gopika struggles without shoes the next day. Jignesh Bhai is introduced who is the local goon. Gopika’s dupatta flies in the air and falls on Jignesh. Jignesh sees Gopika and falls in love with her. Gopika calls him bhaiya and asks her dupatta back. She takes her dupatta and goes back. Jignesh sees that Gopika is walking barefoot. He tells his men to make sure her feet do not touch the hot ground. His men cover the ground with carpet and flowers.
Saksham tells Ashi that things have become very bad. He tells her about Mithila trying to find the girl whose shoe was left. Jiten asks Gopika why she is going around without shoes. Gopika asks Ramila if she can go to Modi’s house to get back her shoe. Ramila says yes as she is distracted. Ashi opens Facebook and they see Mithila announcing that the owner of this shoe will be the daughter-in-law of their family. She says she has not seen the girls’ faces. They are shocked to see that it is Gopika’s shoe. Ramila faints with shock.
Ashi says she sent Gopika to Modi’s house. Ramila says she will never allow this. Ramila runs to stop Gopika, but Jiten takes Gopika on scooter.Jignesh Bhai sees them and follows them. Ramila sits behind him and asks him to follow the scooter. Gopika reaches Modi’s house. The guard stops her from entering and tells her to wait outside. Mithila scolds the guard for stopping her. Ramila reaches there and asks Gopika to come out. Ramila says why she is embarrassing her by asking for shoes in this house. Ramila tells Jiten to take Gopika back home. Jignesh Bhai starts buttering Ramila. Mithila is about to call Gopika when a bus full of girls comes. They all say they left their shoe in Modi’s house.
Gopika makes “nimbu pani” for Ramila. Ramila says she is now suitable age for marriage and she wants her to meet someone. Gopika is shocked to see Jignesh at the door. Ramila tells everyone that she has selected the groom for Gopika. Gopika is shocked. Mama is livid that she selected a goon for Gopika. Ramila says he can protect Gopika as she is so quiet and docile.
