At the beginning of the episode, Gopika gives the plate to Pandit ji. Ramila and Ashi are worried. Pandit ji lifts the cloth. Gopika is shocked and thinks how come her MODAKS have coriander leaves. Pandit ji is offering the momos to Ganapati when Gopika runs and stops him. She takes the momo from Pandit ji’s hands and stuffs it in her mouth. Everyone is shocked by her behavior. Mithila asks her the reason for her behavior. Gopika says they cannot offer this to Ganpati as these are not MODAK but momo. Mithila checks them and asks Gopika why she made momos. Gopika says this plate is not hers and she made MODAK only.
Mithila doubts Ashi and Ramila. Ashi brings her plate and shows the MODAK. Mithila asks Ashi if she made the momos. Ramila tells that Ashi made MODAK in front of her. Mithila says one of the girls is lying and they must tell the truth. Gopika tries to tell that she made the MODAK. Ramila asks for some time alone with them so that she can convince them to tell the truth.
Ramila thinks she cannot save both of them now. Ramila asks Gopika to say that she made a mistake and Mithila will forgive her. Ramila bullies her and says she forgot her real self after getting married. She brings out Gopika’s clothes from the cupboard and throws them on the floor.
Ba asks Mithila why is smiling. Mithila says she is confident that Gopika is not lying. Tejal says Gopika spoilt her first RASOI and maybe she is blaming Ashi to save herself. Mithila says if she had made the momos then why would she stop them from offering to BAPPA. She says Gopika is courageous and truthful and will never lie to hide her mistakes.
Ramila says Gopika must admit to making momos or she will burn all her clothes which includes her engagement CHUNRI. She threatens Gopika into accepting to say that she made momos. Gopika finally says she only made the momos. Ramila tells her to never forget her place. Gopika cries so Ramila tells her to wipe her tears and she will tell the truth to Mithila.
Ramila tells Mithila that Gopika made the mistake of making momos and she lied when it was found. Ramila says Gopika is modern so she never took interest in kitchen work. She tried to make MODAK by looking at the internet and got the wrong recipe. Tejal says Mithila has too much trust in Gopika. Mithila says she still trusts her and she will ask Gopika herself.
Mithila goes to Gopika’s room asks Gopika to tell the truth. Gopika hesitates. Ramila tells her to tell the truth as Mithila will forgive her. Mithila says she knows Gopika cannot lie in front of Ganapati ji. She takes Gopika by hand to Ganapati ji. She asks Gopika again. Gopika thinks of what Ashi said at the breakfast that she is just a burden on this family. Gopika admits to making momos. Mithila says she has accepted her mistake, so she must accept her punishment too. Mithila says she will not be a part of any of Ganapati’s functions. Meenal and Ba try to convince Mithila to forgive Gopika, but Mithila says it is final. Gopika cries and everyone leaves her and goes. Gopika prays to Ganapati ji.
