At the beginning of the episode, Mithila asks Ashi to wear that shoe. Ramila asks them to come in as Ashi is taking bath. Ashi hurries up Gopika to make the shoe. Ramila makes tea for them and says Ashi takes a long time in bathing. Gopika makes the shoe. Mithila is impatient.
Gopika completes making the shoe. Mithila is about to go into the room when Ramila spills the tea on the shoe. She says she will wash it. She hides the shoe under the bed and takes the new shoe from Gopika. She tells Gopika to stay inside. Ashi wears the shoe, Mithila is surprised to see that it fits. Mithila says she promised that whoever the shoe fits will be her “bahu”. Ashi is about to touch her feet, so she tells her to touch Chhoti Ma’s feet first. Mithila touches her head and feels it is not the same girl.
Jignesh Bhai finds that it was Saksham who argued with him in the market. He says Gopika can only belong to him.
Chhoti ma says they finally found the same girl that Saksham chose. Gopika asks Ramila if she should make the second shoe. Ramila asks her to stay in quietly. Mithila asks what happened so Ramila makes some excuse. Mithila asks Ashi to tell her the truth if she only saved her from fire. Ramila says her daughter is very brave and she just did her duty. She asks if this alliance is final. Mithila says she never goes back on her word. Mithila says they will do the “Chandlo Matli” the next day. She tells Ashi that in their family the daughter-in-law has to sing Krishna bhajan in every function, so she should also sing. Ashi is nervous, so Ramila handles the situation and says Ashi is a huge Krishna devotee.
Gopika is about to close the window of her room when Jignesh bhai comes inside. She is scared but he gives her his Ba’s wedding lehenga. He tells her that his mother and grandmother wore this when they were kidnapped. Gopika runs away. Gopika tells Ramila about Jignesh, but Ramila says he is her future husband and sends her away. Ashi practices for the bhajan. Ramila says it is too out of tune.
Chhoti Ma tells everyone that they found the girl, but she is not very fashionable. Chirag teases Saksham about the girl being 55 years old. She tells Saksham that the girl is Ashi only and his and Mithila’s choice is the same. Saksham’s father is livid that it is the same girl who agreed to Saksham’s condition. He scolds Mithila for choosing such a girl and he fears the history will repeat itself. Saksham says he will never do what Mr. Modi did because his mother taught him better. Mithila scolds him for misbehaving and asks him to apologize.
Gopika has a nightmare about her father and she gets up at night. Mama ji comes and comforts her. Gopika says she always has this dream whenever something bad is about to happen. She asks him who those people were who killed his father. Mama ji says he tried to find it but couldn’t. He asks her what scared her. Gopika tells him about Jignesh and his plan to kidnap her. Mama ji thinks that he must take Gopika away from there as Ramila will always support Jignesh.
Ba comes to Mithila and asks why she is tense. Mithila says something is wrong with Ashi. Ba tells her that Kanha ji will never let her faith down and this house will get a suitable daughter-in-law.
Gopika looks at her father’s sketch and misses him. Saksham also prays in front of Gopika’s father’s photo.
