At the beginning of the episode, Mama tells Ramila to take Gopika along to the engagement, but Ramila says she cannot let her spoil Ashi’s future. Gopika prays to Krishna to save her from Jignesh. Ashi practices bhajan but cannot remember. She says she cannot do it. Ramila listens to Gopika singing the bhajan. Ramila asks Gopika to get ready and go to Modi’s house with them. She tells her there is one condition.
Jignesh brings the “baraat”, but Ramila asks her to sit in the cab. Ramila tells her neighbors that her daughter is getting engaged to Saksham Modi. Jignesh calls Gopika but sees the lock on the door. The Neighbour tells him that her daughter is getting engaged to Saksham Modi. Jignesh thinks it is Gopika’s engagement.
Saksham and Chirag get ready. Chirag says he must be happy to get married to the same girl he chose. Saksham says it is just a deal for him. Ramila tells Gopika to hide somewhere and sing while Ashi will do lip-syncing. Mamaji says this is no jungle that she can hide behind some tree. Ramila covers Gopika’s face with her dupatta. Meenal welcomes them. Hiten talks to Tejal. Tejal tells him that he is wearing socks inside out. He says this is for the Indian economy.
Gifts from Gopika’s hands are about to fall. Saksham helps her. Mithila tells about the rituals of Chandlo Matli and asks Ashi to sing the bhajan. Ramila tells Gopika to stand behind the pillar. Ramila asks Ashi to stand near the idol and sing so that no one can see her. Gopika gestures to her that she will sing. She starts singing while Ashi lip-syncs. Mithila observes her closely. Jignesh comes to Modi’s house with his gang. They overpower the security and go in.
Mithila prays to Krishna to lead her the right way. Mithila sees Gopika’s reflection of singing in a mirror on the idol. She sees Gopika from behind and understands Ramila’s plan. She is about to turn Gopika when Jignesh comes in and starts the commotion.
Mithila asks Jignesh who he is and why is her here without an invitation. Jignesh says she is getting her son married to his future wife. Mithila questions Ramila, so she says he has nothing to do with Ashi. Jignesh says he has come here to take his future wife along.
Mithila stops him and tells him to get out. Jignesh pushes Mithila away. Saksham gets furious and hits Jignesh. Jignesh vows to take his revenge on Saksham. He gets his knife out. Gopika sees this and thinks about her father. She runs to push Jignesh away. Gopika comes in front of everyone. Jignesh says he will take her away. Mithila slaps Jignesh and asks him to stop his nonsense. The police come and take Jignesh and his men away.
Mithila asks Ramila how she is related to such a goon. She asks who Gopika is. Ramila says they have raised her as she is an orphan. Mithila asks Gopika if she is actually marrying Jignesh. She tells Gopika that it will be the worst decision of her life. She thanks her for saving Saksham’s life. Gopika also thanks her for saving her from Jignesh. Ba tells Gopika to touch Mithila’s feet and take blessing to thank Mithila. Mithila touches her head and thinks of the girl who saved her from fire.
Mithila asks Ashi also to touch her feet and touches her head. Meenal tells everyone to continue the ritual. Mithila says they got the right partner for Saksham so they must do the rituals on time. Ba asks Meenal to give chunri. Mithila takes the chunri and puts it on Gopika’s head. Everyone is shocked.
